Abstract: A method of displaying an electronic form on a mobile device comprises creating one or more repeatable items comprising a plurality of fields to be filled or displayed wherein one or more of the fields may include another one or more repeatable item. A method of displaying an electronic form on a mobile device having a screen and managed by an operating system comprises attaching a visual priority to one or more fields used in the electronic form; obtaining the current mobile device screen size; and adapting the number of fields to be displayed on the screen based on the screen size and on visual priority attached to one or more of the fields. In one implementation, a minimum width is set for each of the one or more fields, and the fields that can meet the minimum width based on the current mobile device screen size are displayed.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for automatically managing multiple types of applications, electronic forms, electronic forms data instances, network services and, network services. The methods and systems allow organizations with a mobile workforce that relies on established business processes to execute timely and secure exchange of information while providing easy to use, fast, accurate and flexible information capture capability in the field. These organizations and/or third-party providers may optimize the design of mobile applications to better match existing corporate processes and forms in order to reflect existing business needs, preferred graphical user interfaces, processes and experiences on the mobile devices.

Abstract: A system and method for customizing mobile-form applications via a web-based interface for distribution to a mobile device are disclosed. An example method includes providing a customizable mobile-form application template. A web-based interface is provided allowing creation of a customized mobile-form application from the customizable mobile-form application template by selecting a data field for inclusion on the customizable mobile-form application template. The customized mobile-form application may then be distributed to the mobile device.
