  • Patent number: 7802346
Abstract: In a device for identifying undesirable particles in textile fibre material, especially on spinning preparation machines, in which the detection of the undesirable particles is effected by optoelectronic means, the fibre material can be detected by a recognition device and the measurement results can be supplied to an image-processing device. In order substantially to improve evaluation of the measurement of the undesirable particles, there is a combing-out element for at least one fibre sliver, with which a fibre tuft having open ends in the working direction and a fibre tuft having open ends opposite to the working direction can be produced. The measured values of undesirable particles at both fibre tufts can be supplied to a comparison device and the comparison values can be used for optimising setting parameters and/or structural elements of the spinning preparation machines.

Abstract: In a card flat bar having a card flat clothing, the card flat clothing is magnetically attached to the card flat bar body and, in use, lies opposite a clothed roller. In order to hold the clothing element against the card flat bar in a structurally simple way in the event of an increase in force on the clothing, especially to prevent the card flat clothing from making contact with the cylinder clothing, and to allow quick replacement of the card flat clothing strip, on the fibre material inlet side of the card flat clothing—seen in the direction of rotation of the roller—there is associated with the card flat bar a counter-bearing, stop or the like with which a base of the clothing co-operates in the direction towards the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 7765648
Abstract: In an apparatus for detecting a parameter at a plurality of slivers fed to a drafting system of a spinning machine, especially for detecting the movement and/or the presence of a sliver, in which the parameter is measurable separately at each sliver, each sliver is drawn out of sliver cans over a respective driven feed roller and fed to the drafting system and is mechanically sensed by a feeler element, the deflections of which are convertible into electrical signals. To allow an improved and more accurate detection of the individual slivers in a structurally simple manner, a distance sensor that is a contactless distance sensor is provided to detect the position of each feeler element, the sensor being connected to an electrical evaluating unit.

  • Patent number: 7757355
Abstract: An apparatus is provided on a spinning preparation machine for adjusting the carding clearance. A clothed roller has a cylindrical peripheral surface and a cladding facing and spaced therefrom, wherein between the peripheral surface of the roller and a part of the cladding there is a carding region with a carding clearance where carding work is performed and carding heat is generated, heat leading to an alteration across the width of the machine in the contour of at least one of the components lying opposite each other. In order in simple manner to allow a uniform carding clearance under different production and processing conditions, the carding clearance can be made smaller by external energy input to at least one of the components facing each other and/or can be enlarged by throttling the energy input and the energy input.
