  • Patent number: 10539369
Abstract: The invention relates to a heating system (38) for warming a gaseous treatment medium (30, 40) for a device for treating a preferably strip-shaped article (12) by means of a gaseous treatment medium (40), comprising a heating device, a mixing chamber (54) for mixing at least one first, gaseous heating medium (49) heated by means of the gas burner, and the gaseous treatment medium (30) already used for treatment and recycled by the device. Said gaseous heating medium (49) can be introduced into the mixing chamber (54) such that when the gaseous medium (49) is introduced into the mixing chamber (54), vortexes are produced in the mixing chamber (54), which generate an intensive thorough-mixing of the gaseous heating medium (49) with the recycled gaseous treatment medium (30).

  • Patent number: 9333731
Abstract: In a device for bonding web-shaped textile products by means of hot gases, in particular for bonding a nonwoven fabric that has thermally fusible fibers and/or filaments, comprising a drum that is rotatably mounted within a treating chamber to which hot air is supplied, said drum comprising a circumferential surface which is designed to be gas-permeable by means of a plurality of openings and which is partly looped by the web to be bonded the device also comprises a suction unit which is paired with the drum and by means of which the drum is placed under suction such that the hot air flows out of the treating chamber through the material web to be bonded, and the device comprises a heater for heating the air that is conducted out of the drum, it is provided that a structured lining (8) that embosses the textile product (1, 11) by means of a plurality of openings (9) during the bonding process is wound onto the drum (5) circumferential surface that is designed to be gas-permeable, said openings (9) being l

  • Patent number: 9181643
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for producing a nonwoven composite fabric. A nonwoven fabric layer is applied onto a support structure layer and connected to said layer by means of water jet needling. According to the invention, the following are provided: a number of deflecting rollers (U, US) around which a support structure (S) in the form of a screen or a mesh fabric is stretched and circulated, said support structure being designed as a continuous strip; a feeding device (V1R) for a nonwoven fabric (V1), which is brought into contact with the support structure (S) and further moved in contact with same; and a device for water jet needling (D11, D12, ST1), by means of which the nonwoven fabric (V1) is connected to the support structure (S).

  • Patent number: 8782861
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for compacting a material web made of fibers and/or filaments, comprising a first revolving endless belt which carries the material web and is tensioned around guide rollers, and a second endless belt which is tensioned around guide rollers and revolves counter to the first belt at the same speed, wherein the first and second endless belts form a conical compacting region in a first region in the conveying direction of the material web and run at an angle with respect to each other, whereby the material web located between the belts is increasingly pressed, wherein subsequent to the first region a first nozzle beam is disposed for a first fluid application onto the material web still located between the two endless belts, wherein the two belts in this region of the first fluid application are in each case guided to run in a tensioned manner in a straight direction.
