    Abstract: A panel with a receiver is used to install a component into a wallboard. The panel is inserted into an opening into a wallboard, and the junction between the panel and the wallboard is taped and spackled so that the wallboard and panel appear to be a single surface. A spackle rim with a gradient extending from the spackle rim along the surface of the panel is used so that spackle can be spread thinly across the entire surface of the panel.
