Abstract: A gas bag module, in particular for head protection in case of a side impact, has an elongated mounting housing (10) having two opposing side walls (12, 14) running spaced apart from each other and a cross-piece (16) connecting the side walls (12, 14), and has a gas bag (20) accommodated in folded state in the mounting housing (10). Further provided is at least one spacer spaced apart from the cross-piece (16), which spacer extends between the side walls (12, 14) and connects them with each other such that a moving apart of the side walls (12, 14) is at least largely avoided when the mounting housing (10) is open and the gas bag (20) unfolds.

Abstract: A side impact protective device for vehicle occupants is arranged along a roof frame of a vehicle and includes a cladding part for covering the roof frame, a head gas bag and mounting members. Abstract: The invention relates to a device for fixing a gas bag in its folded position. The device comprises a one-piece hollow body, which has a U-shaped cross-sectional profile, a first and a second side wall, a connecting web and a flap section formed on the first side wall. Abstract: A belt buckle for vehicle safety belts has a load bearing frame and a locking mechanism thereon. A housing encloses the frame and has an insertion slot for an insert tongue acting in conjunction with the locking mechanism. Abstract: A belt retractor for a vehicle safety belt comprises a frame, a belt spool rotatably mounted in the frame, a locking catch arranged on the belt spool, a locking mechanism adapted to pivot the locking catch between an initial position and a locking position, a locking disc and a locking toothing. Abstract: A rear impact restraint system (10) for protecting a vehicle occupant (42) during a rear impact crash event includes a vehicle seat (12) having a seat back portion (28) and an actuatable rear impact occupant protection device (40). Abstract: An inflatable protective cushion to cover side panes of a vehicle in the event of a side impact has a front end and a front anchor point in an area of an A-column and a rear anchor point in an area of a C-column of the vehicle. Abstract: A belt retractor for a vehicular seat belt system comprises a belt reel taking up a seat belt, a belt tensioning mechanism capable of biasing the belt reel in a winding direction of the seat-belt, and a sensor capable of triggering the belt tensioning mechanism and provided with a safety device translatable by installation of the belt retractor in a vehicle from a secured condition in which the sensor is blocked, into a released condition in which the sensor is ready to trigger. The safety device includes a sensor blocking element which is movable between a blocking position in which the sensor is blocked, and a release position in which the sensor is ready to trigger, and includes a transport locking element and a sensing element. The sensing element senses a diameter of a coil of the seat belt on the belt reel and allows a movement of the sensor blocking element into the release position only when the diameter is below a predetermined value.
