    Abstract: A positive motion belt transmission having an endless elastic toothed belt disposed in power transmitting engagement with a toothed wheel. The teeth on the wheel have convex surfaces adapted for engagement with the teeth on the belt. The teeth on the belt have concave surfaces which engage the convex surfaces on the teeth of the wheel to decrease the contact stress between the teeth during transmission of power between the wheel and the belt.
