  • Publication number: 20210330152
Abstract: A brush and a rotating brush are provided that are capable of flexibly setting the balance between scraping performance and mopping performance. The brush of the rotating brush includes a fabric base, which is formed by weaving warp and weft, and a brush portion, which includes bristles. The bristles are formed by pile yarns, which are woven into the fabric base to project upright from the outer surface of the fabric base. The bristles of the brush portion include two types of pile yarns that have different lengths and are arranged to be adjacent to each other in a warp direction, which is a direction in which the warp extends.

  • Patent number: 9173534
Abstract: A brush includes a bristle section and a base. The bristle section includes fiber bundles and binding fibers, which bind and couple the fiber bundles together. The base has a clamping part, which clamps part of the bristle section. The fiber bundles are arranged in a row in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which fibers of the fiber bundles extend. The binding fibers are sequentially adjacent in a direction in which the fibers of the fiber bundles extend. The clamping part clamps part of the bristle section to cover the binding fibers.

The synthetic fiber may have a single-filament fineness of not more than 30 dtex. The synthetic fiber may have 3 to 6 elongated recesses or grooves extending in a longitudinal direction thereof and have a multi-leaves or star-shaped cross-section. The electro-conductive multifilament yarn of the present invention has a high electro-conductivity and may have an electric resistance value of 1×106 to 1×1011 ?/cm at 20° C. Further, the electro-conductivity has a high uniformity; the standard deviation of a logarithm of the electric resistance value may be not more than 1.0.

  • Patent number: 7829174
Abstract: Weatherseals are provided by a pair of base members which may be attached to a pile formed by winding fibers around a band as the band travels along an endless path. A section of the pile on one side of the endless band is cut to provide cut pile section and a continuous pile section. The continuous pile section forms the bow, arch or loop by disposing the base members in side-by-side, back-to-back, or perpendicular relationship. The cut pile section may be removed at the base members or halves of the cut pile section maybe left in place. The cut pile section halves and the outside surface of the bow, arch, or ioop may be attached by base members to a member, such as by adhesive or via one or more T-shaped slots, that is in sealing relationship with another member and engagable therewith to provide a resilient seal.

  • Publication number: 20060049559
Abstract: A cushioning member is located between each support frame and the corresponding side of the shutter. The cushioning member includes a pair of belt-shaped base members and pile yarns bridging between the base members. Some of the pile yarns are cut at intermediate portion between the base members, which forms opposing first and second cut pile yarns with a cut in between. One of the base members is attached to each support frame, and the other base member contacts the shutter. The cut permits the cushioning member to flexibly respond to movements of the shutter and satisfactorily exerts a cushioning function to suppress swaying of the shutter.

  • Patent number: 6739161
Abstract: A cleaning material or a sealing material is attached to a supporting body facing a moving body that contacts microscopic particles. The cleaning material or the sealing material has a ground fabric formed with a knit fabric. The knit fabric is obtained through warp knitting ground yarns. Pile yarns are raised on the ground fabric. The pile yarns slide on the moving body to scrape off the microscopic particles on the moving body, thereby cleaning the surface of the moving body. The pile yarns also blocks flow of microscopic particles through the space between the moving body and the supporting body and collect the particles.
