  • Patent number: 5425834
Abstract: An apparatus for feeding a long adhesive sheet material protected with parting films on both side into a forming machine by a specified portion each without any manual labor. An adhesive sheet material (10) let off through pinch rolls (102, 102) in a sheet cutter (100) is measured of its length by an encoder, and is cut in a preset length. A cut segment (15) of the adhesive sheet material is conveyed by a sheet cutter conveyor (200) to a specified position, where it is stacked up on a stacking truck (400) waiting above a weighing scale (500) by a suction and transfer device (300). When stacking of segments (15) is over, the weight is measured by the weighing scale (500). When this measurement agrees with the necessary weight, the specified number of segments (15) are carried up to the waiting position of a charger (600) by the stacking truck (400), and are charged into the specified position of a forming machine (20) by the charging machine (600).

  • Patent number: 5283959
Abstract: A system of drying moist sludge includes a drier as a main component. The drier is composed of a lower gas fluidizing section and an upper high speed fluidizing section. Moist sludge to be be dried is introduced into a mixer in which each particle is coated with the moist sludge, and the coated particles are supplied to the gas fluidizing section. Fine particles flown away from the gas fluidizing section are fluidized in the high speed fluidizing section while they are dried by heating elements. After completion of the drying operation, dried sludge particles are collected in a dust collector. Subsequently, fine dried sludge particles are conducted to a bag type dust collecting unit from which they are discharged to a sludge hopper. A part of the coarse dried sludge particles collected in the dust collector is supplied to the gas fluidizing section, a part of the same is supplied to the mixer to be mixed with moist sludge, and the balance is delivered to the sludge hopper.

  • Patent number: 5081937
Abstract: An improved system for treating waste material in a molten state wherein the waste material in the form of finely pulverized combustible waste material including incombustible material, e.g., pulverized coal, dried sludge derived from sewerage or the like is burnt in a primary combustion furnace and then burnt in a secondary combustion furnace, the incombustible material is molten to form a flow of molten slag and the resultant molten slag is taken to the outside of the system is disclosed. Floatable dust in the combustion waste gas is collected and agglomerated in the atmosphere of a swirling flow having a high temperature enough to keep the incombustible material in a molten state, whereby a flow of molten slag is produced and then it is cooled so as to allow it to be discharged to the outside of the system. The molten slag may flow back by its own gravity weight to the combustion furnace against a counterflow of the waste gas.
