Abstract: A modular garage door opener system and method including a garage door opener having a motor that is configured to be coupled to a garage door to open and close the garage door. The garage door opener includes a first accessory port including a first accessory mounting interface and a second accessory port disposed on the garage door opener including a second accessory mounting interface. An accessory device including a first mounting interface engages the first accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the first accessory port. The accessory device may be disengaged from the first accessory mounting interface and then engage the second accessory mounting interface to couple the accessory device to the second accessory port. Additionally, a second accessory device may engage the first accessory port after disengagement of the accessory device.

Abstract: A modular garage door opener system includes an accessory device including a first electronic processor, a first memory, and a load, and includes a garage door opener including an accessory port, a second memory, and a second electronic processor. The accessory port is configured to be removably coupled to the accessory device. The second electronic processor receives new status data from the accessory device indicating a change in a status of the accessory device to a new status, sends the new status data to a remote server to update an accessory data set, receives new settings data from the remote server indicating a requested change in a setting of the accessory device, and sends the new settings data to the accessory device to update the setting of the accessory device. The first electronic processor controls the load of the accessory device based on the new settings data.

The flashlight also includes a first light source positioned adjacent the first end. The first light source is electrically coupled to the power source and fixed relative to the body. The flashlight further includes a second light source coupled to the body. The second light source is movable relative to the first light source about a hinge defining a pivot axis.

Abstract: A self-engaging clutch includes an input member, and intermediate member, and an output member. The input member is coupled to a prime mover and includes clutch protrusions. The output member is coupled to an output and includes an output clutch. The intermediate member includes a first side that is engaged with the input member and a second side that is engageable with the output member. Upon rotation of the input member, the intermediate member displaces toward the output member to engage the output member thereby allowing torque to be transferred from the input member to the output member.

Abstract: A battery waking circuit and a battery leakage circuit are provided. The battery waking circuit includes a first battery pack and a second battery pack connected in series and a first switch connected to the first battery pack along a first current path. An electronic controller coupled to and controlling the first witch is configured to detect a trigger actuation and close the first switch based on detecting the trigger actuation to draw a wake-up current on the first current path from the first battery pack. The electronic controller is also configured to control a motor to draw a load current along a second current path after the first battery pack is woken up. The battery leakage circuit also includes a switch connected in series with the capacitor and a trigger switch controlling the switch such that the switch prevents a flow of leakage current through the capacitor when the trigger is not actuated.

Abstract: A garage door opener system having a garage door opener and a remote input device electrically connected to the garage door opener by an electrical conductor. The remote input device receives power by the electrical conductor. The remote input device includes a device controller to communicate an event message, monitor for an acknowledgement message within a time period, and repeat the event message when the acknowledgement message is not received within a time period. The garage door opener includes a master controller. The master controller receives the event message and communicates the acknowledgement message in response to receiving the event message. Also disclosed is a method of operating the garage door opener system.

Abstract: A miter saw including a base, a turntable pivotably coupled to the base about a miter axis, and a miter angle lock assembly. The miter angle lock assembly includes a clamp biased into engagement with the base when in a clamped position, thereby exerting a clamping force on the base for locking the turntable relative to the base. The miter angle lock assembly further includes an override assembly for maintaining the clamp in a released position relative to the base in which the clamping force is released.

Abstract: A tile saw includes a base, and a table movably coupled to the base and moveable in a first plane between a first position and a second position to cut a workpiece. A blade assembly has a saw blade rotatable within a second plane that is perpendicular to the first plane to cut the workpiece as the table moves between the first position and the second position. The tile saw further includes a support arm fixedly coupling the blade assembly to the base via a support arm mount, and an adjustment mechanism received by the support arm mount and the base. The adjustment mechanism is movable between a first adjustment position and a second adjustment position to adjust the position of the saw blade. Adjusting the saw blade includes at least one of translating the saw blade to a third plane parallel to the second plane and pivoting the support arm to change the yaw of the saw blade.

Abstract: A miter saw including a base, a turntable pivotably coupled to the base about a miter axis, and a miter angle detent assembly. The miter angle detent assembly includes an actuator and a bi-stable cam mechanism. The bi-stable cam mechanism is operable to lock the turntable relative to the base at a desired miter angle by depressing the actuator a first instance, and is operable to permit relative movement between the turntable and the base about the miter axis by depressing the actuator a second instance.
