    Abstract: A method for self-discovery of an array of linear sensors, wherein each linear sensor has a unique identifier, the method includes: for each accessory, identifying a linear sensor situated upstream or downstream of the linear sensor; sending a local request to the identified sensor/accessory; sending a general request to the plurality of linear sensors and/or accessories in the array; receiving a response to the at least one local request by said linear sensor and/or the accessory; sending a response to the general request by said linear sensor and/or by the accessory, the response to the general request sent by the linear sensor comprising the unique identifier; and processing the response to the general request received from each linear sensor and/or from each accessory by the central processing unit allowing to reconstitute the logical topology of the network as a function of the unique identifiers received.

    Abstract: A binary process for manufacturing dipped latex product. The binary process disclosed herein eliminates the influence of any level of pre-vulcanization on the outcome of the dipping process whether using natural or synthetic latex. The binary process includes preparing a first latex mixture Formulation A including latex, one or more accelerators, and one or more surfactants, but without curing agents; and preparing a second latex mixture Formulation B including latex, one or more curing agents, and one or more surfactants, but without curing accelerators. The process further includes dipping one or more formers into the Formulations A and B separately in order to form a plurality of coatings/layers of the Formulations A and B, and later on curing the plurality of coatings/layers on the formers to form the dipped latex products, which can be a condom, glove, balloon, catheter, finger cot, surgical tubing, baby bottle nipple or dental dam.

    Abstract: A detecting element is provided for detecting leaks of an electrically nonconductive liquid, in particular of hydrocarbons, as well as a detection cable and a detection system using such a detecting element. The detecting element includes a detection member made of a material which inflates upon contact with the liquid and which is loaded with electrically conductive particles, to be conductive when not contaminated by the liquid, and to lose the conductivity when inflating from contact with the liquid. The detection member is electrically connected to an electronic management module, which is arranged for detecting the presence of the liquid by noticing a decrease in the conductivity of the detection member. In a preferred embodiment, the detection cable includes four insulated conductive wires, one of which is embedded in the detection member which is itself protected by an inflatable casing, which is also insulating and water-proof.
