Abstract: Continuous joint permitting automatic compensation of clearances consisting of a fixed plate integral with the seat part and a moving plate integral with the back, this assembly capable of having an angular movement of one of the parts in relation to the other in which: an elastic bearing is inserted between the eccentric constituting a cam and a tooth part which it drives. One of the plates is provided with a shaft which is seated in a bearing aperture of the eccentric constituting a cam bearing aperture which is provided with two main support zones on which the shaft bears.
Abstract: An irreversible continuous pivotal connection between a fixed part and a movable part includes a fixed side plate fixed with respect to the fixed part and having an arcuate array of teeth, as well as a movable side plate fixed with respect to the movable part and having an arcuate array of teeth. The movable side plate is mounted parallel to the fixed side plate for rotation about a fixed common axis. A planet gear is positioned between the fixed and movable side plates, and has two external arcuate arrays of teeth with different diameters and locally meshing with the arcuate arrays of teeth of the fixed and movable side plates. An eccentric member is mounted for rotation about the fixed axis and presses on the planet gear so that rotation of the eccentric member in one direction causes epicyclic rotation of the planet gear in another direction.
Abstract: A movable arm rest, the position of which is adjustable by a motor, and which can be used in particular between the two front seats of a motor vehicle. The arm rest comprises a movable component (1), the upper upholstered part (2) of which serves as a support for the user. By virtue of a motor which is fixed with respect to a support plate (5) disposed at the base of the movable component, the arm rest is displaced along inclined guide ramps which are fixed with respect to a fixed frame (4). The drive is provided by way of pinions (16) meshing with racks (47).
Abstract: Continuous joint for seat permitting compensation of clearances consisting of a fixed plate integral with the seat part and a moving plate integral with the back, this assembly capable of having an angular movement of one of the parts in relation to the other in which:(a) An elastic bearing (19) is inserted between the eccentric constituting a cam (13, 22) and the part which it drives (4, 21).(b) The central rotational shaft of the eccentric constituting a cam (13) has a flat part giving two opposite bearing points (17, 18) essentially at 120.degree. in relation to each other on the interior zone of the hole (16) of the moving plate (2) in order to compensate for the tolerance clearances inherent in the manufacture of the continuous joint.
Abstract: An articulation in which a fixed iron member fixedly mounted with a seat frame comprises control means acting on an eccentric member causing upon rotation a locking and respectively an unlocking of a toothed center bearing plate. The toothed center bearing plate has such a shape that when it is pushed on the toothing of the iron member fixedly mounted with the seat frame, it is laterally blocked by reaction thus preventing any lateral displacement even if the mating cooperating toothings comprise some clearance. A rotation pin of the seat back with respect to the seat frame is so shaped that it is supported on two different points on an ovalized bearing member of the iron member fixedly mounted with the seat frame.
