    Abstract: According to various embodiments, a social mobile data sharing platform (SMDSP) is disclosed. The SMDSP includes a data sharing onboarding portal (DSOP) configured to onboard one or more social entities for offering mobile connectivity to one or more sponsees. The SMDSP further includes a shared data pool service configured to aggregate mobile data from one or more contributing sponsors. The SMDSP additionally includes an artificial intelligence (AI) server configured to evaluate a volume of mobile data to be granted to the sponsees from the shared data pool service to be offered by the one or more social entities. The evaluation is based on at least one of country of the sponsee, socio-economic background of the sponsee, and serving network operator of the sponsee.

The system includes Mobile Acceleration Client (MAC) that provides common services to third party mobile apps enabling app and mobile web acceleration. This background service interacts with a server side gateway, referred to herein as a Mobile Acceleration Gateway (MAG), which performs acceleration of connections and gathers intelligence about downloaded content through crowd sourcing. Intelligence in the MAG is used to identify the most popular content in apps and websites, as well as provide a cache for such content for improving server side efficiency in delivering such content.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method for granting available network capacity to mobile devices. The system locates a mobile device's cell based on its location and classifies the cell, and its associated carriers and sectors, based on different properties like busy level, bandwidth, and RF data in real time at different times of the day. Varying types of network cells with under-utilized capacity are identified using a cloud-based system to provide an online trigger to nearby mobile users to utilize the network capacity for any kind of data usage. Models are used to infer device RF conditions and details of network cellular parameters under consideration to dynamically improve the service in a heterogeneous crowd-sourced environment.

    Abstract: A data communication system configured to determine and coordinate loading in a mobile network with plurality of client devices. The system includes a control server coupled the client devices. The control server has a probe control function that transmits a downlink (DL) probe with an updated client probing profile to each client device. The client device has a client probing control engine that gathers network measurement information for transmission to the control server and generates uplink (UL) probes containing the network measurement information including, radio access network (RAN) metrics, DL probe measurements for transmission to the control server based on the client probing profile. The control server receives the UL probes from the client devices and determines the system load based on the measurement information, the control server updates client scheduling information based on the system load and transmits the client scheduling information to the plurality of client devices.

    Abstract: A deflection yoke for use with cathode ray tubes of the type in which one or more electron beams generated therein are deflected includes a magnetic core member and a selected wire winding thereon to produce a magnetic field for deflecting the beam. Each core has a winding axis defined thereon and each winding occurs along at least one segment having a given length along the winding axis. Each segment has a first end and an opposed second end and a middle portion defined therebetween. The winding pattern of each winding in accordance with the invention begins in the central portion of each segment and includes a first toroidal winding portion starting at this midpoint and extending in a first handed direction to a first segment end. The winding pattern includes an intermediate transition portion which extends from the first segment end to the second segment end. The winding pattern continues with a second toroidal winding portion extending from the second segment and to the middle starting point.
