Patent number: 11785727Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to a locking pin used to secure components in an electronics module. For example, in some embodiments an electronics module includes a housing lower part that includes a lower receiving element and a housing upper part that includes an upper receiving element that is aligned with the lower receiving element. In various embodiments, a locking pin may be used to connect a circuit board in the electronics module. For example, in some embodiments the circuit board includes at least one lead-through opening and the circuit board is connected to the housing lower part via the locking pin that is inserted in a positive-locking manner through the lead-through opening into the lower receiving element. Further, in some embodiments, an upper pin section of the locking pin may be inserted into an upper receiving element of the housing upper part in a positive-locking manner.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2022Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: TURCK Holding GmbHInventor: Nikolaj Löwen

Patent number: 11754627Abstract: Method and device for monitoring an electrical load connected to a power supply, with first and second current paths, each having an actuating element, the current transmission capacity of which is alterable by an actuating signal, wherein the operating state of each actuating element is characterized by a voltage drop and the actuating signal. An open-loop control device is configured to activate the actuating elements, at least at measuring intervals spaced apart from one another in time, and evaluate values of the electrical variables obtained for detecting a malfunction of the actuating element, wherein one of the two variables is held at a prescribed value, and the values of the other variable are correlated with one another. A field-effect transistor is activated such that the transistor is not connected through, but rather that a greater voltage drops across the transistor than would be the case in the connected through state.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2020Date of Patent: September 12, 2023Assignee: Turck Holding GmbHInventor: Johannes Vom Stein

Patent number: 10977014Abstract: A programming environment and a simple programming language that runs on Ethernet block-input/output (block-IO) devices and hosting servers. In some embodiments, the ARGEE™ system includes a web-based programming environment that compiles a GUI program into a bytecode program of a virtual machine; and the virtual machine that runs in the device firmware and executes the bytecode program representing the GUI program created by a user. There are many programming languages that provide a web-based programming environment. Some such languages apply to embedded devices. However, the ARGEE™ system, considered as a whole, is unique in that the programming environment is not hosted on the same embedded device it controls. The system reduces the FLASH-memory requirements of the device by hosting the environment on an external server. The system also facilitates a faster update cycle of the environment software, making it easier to distribute changes to customers when environment changes.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2019Date of Patent: April 13, 2021Assignee: Turck Holding, GmbHInventor: Roman Glistvain

Publication number: 20200358194Abstract: A device for exchanging data with a transponder. A first antenna surface extends on a broad-side surface of a dielectric body. A reflection surface is provided on the opposite broad-side surface. At the back of the reflection surface there is a feed network for providing a phase-shifted alternating voltage, which is coupled into the antenna surface at a plurality of different feed points by means of feed elements penetrating the reflection surface in an isolated manner. A second antenna surface is spaced apart from the first antenna surface at a distance by means of spacers.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2019Publication date: November 12, 2020Applicant: Turck Holding GmbHInventor: Michael Reppel

Patent number: 8209694Abstract: A real time operating system (RTOS) for embedded controllers having limited memory includes a continuations library, a wide range of macros that hide continuation point management, nested blocking functions, and a communications stack. The RTOS executes at least a first and second task and uses a plurality of task priorities. The tasks share only a single stack. The task scheduler switches control to the highest-priority task. The continuations library provides macros to automatically manage the continuation points. The yield function sets a first continuation point in the first task and yields control to the task scheduler, whereupon the task scheduler switches to the second task and wherein at a later time the task scheduler switches control back to the first task at the first continuation point. The nested blocking function invokes other blocking functions from within its body and yields control to the task scheduler.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2010Date of Patent: June 26, 2012Assignee: Turck Holding GmbHInventor: Roman Glistvain
