Abstract: A wall plug for enabling fixings to be attached to a wall, the wall plug comprising an elongate body having an inner insertion end and an outer end, a through bore extending from the outer end toward the inner end, the through bore being adapted to axially receive an elongate drill of a setting tool, and body end portion extending axially in-board from said inner insertion end, the body end portion having at least one axially extending recess communicating with an axial end region of said through bore so as to expose a side portion of the setting tool when received in said through bore.

Abstract: A sharpening apparatus (16) for a blade-like cutting implement. The sharpening apparatus has an elongate body (18) and a cutting edge extending widthwise across one end of the body (11) at a predetermined angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the body (11). The cutting edge is formed by an inclined face formed on one side face of the body. The apparatus includes a cradle (26) for holding a blade-like implement to be sharpened and a mounting body for mounting the cradle (26) relative to a grinding surface. The cradle is mounted on a pair of guide rails (22, 24) for movement along a rectilinear path, the cradle including first and second rail followers slidably connected to a first and second of the guide rails respectively. The cradle (26) includes a seat for locating the blade-like implement at a reselected reference position on the cradle (26) such that the cutting edge of the implement to be sharpened is located parallel to said rectilinear path.

Abstract: A tile cutter includes a cutting wheel, a motor which drives the wheel in use, and a main housing body and a worktop mounted on the main housing body to define a cutting surface upon which tiles may be supported when being cut. The main housing body includes a first compartment for housing the motor and a second compartment for housing the cutting wheel. The second compartment defines an open topped water compartment. The worktop has a main body fixedly secured to the main housing body and has an access opening closed by a movable access lid overlying the second compartment to close the open top of the water compartment. The access lid provides access to the water compartment. The worktop further includes one or more open topped drainage channels communicating with the cutting surface and the water compartment to permit, in use, water to drain from the cutting surface to the water compartment.

Abstract: A tile cutter includes a base having a support surface upon which tiles to be cut may be supported, a pair of guide rails mounted upon the base, the guide rails being parallel to one another and being spaced from the support surface to enable a tile to be located between the guide rails and the support surface. A cutter assembly is provided, mounted on a carriage, which, in turn, is movably mounted on the pair of rails so as to guide the cutter assembly along a rectilinear path across the support surface. The carriage includes a first rotary bearing assembly in rotary contact with one rail and a second rotary bearing assembly in rotary contact with the other rail.

Abstract: A security label for attachment to an article, the security label including a planar security tag laminated in-between first and second carrier layers, the second layer overlying the planar security tag and having a peripheral marginal portion which projects beyond and extends around the peripheral edge of the security tag, said peripheral marginal portion of the second layer being bonded in face to face contact with said first layer, said first layer having a peripheral marginal portion which projects beyond and extends around the peripheral edge of the second layer, said peripheral marginal portion of the first layer providing a surface for securance to said article.
