  • Patent number: 9974148
Abstract: The invention relates to a lighting control system for routing of messages between a number of lighting nodes forming a wireless multi-node network and method therefor. The lighting control system comprising a number of lighting nodes forming a wireless multi-node network, each lighting node comprising a light source; a controller connected to the light source; and a wireless communication means connected to the controller for communication with other lighting nodes in the network, wherein the system is arranged to select for each first lighting node at least one second lighting node to which the wireless communication means of said first lighting node is to establish a routing connection on the basis of information about the geographical position of said first lighting node and the geographical position of said second lighting node.

  • Patent number: 9955554
Abstract: A lighting control system and method for association of nodes in a multi-node network. The system includes a number of lighting nodes forming a multi-node network, each lighting node including a light source, a controller connected to the light source, and communication means connected to the controller. The lighting control system further includes a memory component adapted to store information relating to at least one group of interrelated coordinates defined in a geographical coordinate system and a processing component in communication with the lighting nodes and adapted to automatically associate at least one lighting node with the at least one group on the basis of the geographical location of said at least one lighting node.

  • Patent number: 9717131
Abstract: The invention relates to a motion detector system (2), a lighting system (14) with such detector system and a method for detecting moving vehicles and/or pedestrians. The motion detector system comprises: —a first motion detector (6a, 6b) for detecting vehicles and/or pedestrians having a speed in a first speed range, the first detector being arranged to detect moving objects in a first detection zone (d1, d2) having a first size, the first size determining the first speed range; and —a second motion detector (8a, 8b) for detecting vehicles and/or pedestrians having a speed in a second speed range, the second detector being arranged to detect moving objects in a second detection zone (d3, d4) having a second size, the second size determining the second speed range.
