The television receiving apparatus includes: a broadcast signal receiving and processing unit configured to process broadcast signals according to broadcast standards; a communication unit configured to connect with a network and communicate with one or more servers and one or more external devices; monitor configured to display an image; speaker configured to output voice; microphone configured to receive a voice input; interface unit configured to receive a command signal from outside or output a signal to an external device; control unit in connection with the interface unit, the communication unit, the monitor, the speaker, the broadcast signal receiving and processing unit and configured to generate control signal for a target controlled object based on voice input from outside and send the control signal to the target controlled object to implement a control operation corresponding to the voice input.

The television apparatus includes a display configured to display an image, a communication interface configured to communicate with a mobile device and one or more servers, and a controller in connection with the display and the communication interface. The controller is configured to receive authentication information from a second server of the one or more servers, display the authentication information on the display of the display apparatus, receive a display request for displaying an item in actual physical size from the second server, and display the item in actual physical size on the display of the television apparatus.

Abstract: Provided are a broadcast signal receiving apparatus and a broadcast signal receiving method, capable of providing CMs to make the CMs have greater similarity to viewing program content. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of the present embodiment comprises: a receiving element used for receiving and demodulating broadcast content; a CM substitute time period information acquisition element used for acquiring a specific assigned time period for a CM substitute among one or more CM during the playing of the broadcast content; a CM substitute acquisition element used for acquiring at least one CM substitute associated with the broadcast content from external device; and a CM selection element used for playing the CM substitute during a specific assigned time period for the CM substitute on the basis of the time period information for the CM substitute.
