Abstract: A twisted pair communications device and associated twisted pair communications system are disclosed. One twisted pair communications device includes a plurality of twisted pair connectors each associated with a different twisted pair communication channel, and a multi-channel connector communicatively connected to each of the plurality of twisted pair connectors. The multi-channel connector is configured to transmit and receive communication signals associated with each of the twisted pair communication channels on a multi-channel twisted pair cable and includes a plurality of wire pairs disposed in a plurality of rows within the connector. Fewer than all of the plurality of wire pairs are communicatively connected to twisted pair connectors, and wherein unassociated wire pairs in the multi-channel connector separate at least two groups of wire pairs associated with different twisted pair communication channels.

Abstract: Safety insert for disposable syringes, comprising at least one attachment member whose point allows advance of the stem during injection of the syringe content and prevents its retraction once said injection is performed on attaching to the inner walls of the cylinder, and having at least one perforating member with a gaff at its end able to dig into the plunger and pass through its wall, thus breaking the tightness of the compartment of the cylinder intended to contain the substance to be injected when retraction of the stem is attempted following the injection.

Abstract: A connector assembly includes a housing having a jack interface. The jack interface has a receptacle jack therein, and the receptacle jack is configured to receive a plug. A sensor bezel is removably attachable to the jack interface, and the sensor bezel comprises a cavity extending therethrough to allow passage of a plug when inserted into the receptacle jack. The sensor bezel includes a circuit board proximate the jack cavity. At least one sensor contact is aligned with, and configured to engage, a sensor probe associated with a plug insertable into the receptacle jack. An interchangeable output cassette provides an output signal through the front or the rear of the connector assembly.

Abstract: A cable terminating apparatus for terminating a cable having a plurality of wires with a connector, the cable terminating apparatus includes a housing having a plurality of slots arranged for positioning the plurality of wires in a fixed spaced relationship relative to each other. A connector has a plurality of terminals corresponding to the plurality of wires. A squeezing tool has a recess configured for receiving the housing and the connector. The squeezing tool has a moveable plate for urging the connector and the housing against a support wall and into engagement with each other to electrically connect the plurality of terminals with the plurality of wires.

Abstract: An improved electrical contact according to the invention has a U-shaped base having a bottom and two opposing side walls that define a tab-receiving channel. The base has an open forward end for receiving a mating tab terminal and a rearward end with a middle region therebetween. A contact spring is disposed over the bottom and has a bridge which spans the bottom between the opposing side walls in the middle region of the base. A first contact arm extends from the bridge towards the forward end and converges towards the bottom to a first contact point and then diverges to a free end thereby defining a mating tab insertion mouth. A second contact arm extends from the bridge towards the rearward end and converges towards the base to a second contact point that is disposed closer to the base than the first contact point. The bridge is continuous with one of the opposing side walls and includes a free end that is attached to the other opposing side wall.
