Abstract: A connecting arrangement includes at least first and second housings in which at least one conductor of a first cable can be electrically connected to at least one conductor of a second cable fed via a cable receiver. At least one piercing element is electrically connected to the second cable and configured to be inserted transversely into the conductor of the first cable. The cable receiver is constructed as an integral unit with the second housing and the piercing element. A sealing element configured to seal a piercing point of the piercing element is arranged on an inner side of the second housing and the cable receiver is disposed on an outer side of the second housing. The sealing element and the cable receiver are formed in one piece through the second housing.

The spring tongue has a free end with a locking face for securing the contact element in a contact housing. The locking face is movable between a locked position and an assembly position. The spring tongue has first and second retention tongues. The first retention tongue extends laterally to a longitudinal direction of the spring tongue and engages an opening in the contact body when the locking face is in the locked position. The second retention tongue extends perpendicular to the spring tongue for engagement with the contact housing when the locking face is in the locked position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a lockable plug-type connector, such as for producing an electrical and mechanical connection between an igniter and an electrical control device of an occupant restraining system in motor vehicles. The lockable plug-type connector comprises a connector and a socket for lockably receiving a connecting device located on the connector. The connector substantially comprises a housing with a connecting device and a locking device, a housing cover and a partial covering with locking device. The locking devices provide mechanical locking of the connector in the socket. The locking device of the partial covering are formed by at least one locking tongue which is arranged on the edge of at least one recess on the partial covering.

Abstract: The invention provides a coil former for an electromechanical actuator with a U-shaped yoke, having a base arranged between two limbs and forming a coil core. The coil former comprises a bobbin holder having an opening therein to receive the base portion of the yoke, and delimiting elements flanking the bobbin holder. At least a portion of the coil former is resiliently deformable to connect the coil former onto the base.

To improve the plug such that the conductor guide can be assembled as easily as possible and its correct position easily checked, with the conductor guide still being well secured, the conductor guide comprises a retaining profile with which a partial profile of the main housing and a supplementary profile of the supplementary part can be brought, at least in certain sections, into engagement so as to correspond with each other.

Abstract: A sensor front end is disclosed that is able to discriminate objects based on their range from the sensor and to derive bearing information therefrom. The sensor system includes a signal source for transmitting at least a first and a second sensor signal toward the object and receiving a first and a second reflected signal pulse therefrom, and for generating a first and second information signal based on the first and the second reflected signals, respectively; and an information processor programmed to receive the first and second information signal from the signal source and to determine bearing information for the object based on a phase difference between the first and second information signal. The information processor is preferably capable of generating sample points from the first and second information signal and calculating the bearing information using these sample points.

Abstract: A connecting box with a printed circuit board is described which has electrical components electrically connected to conductor rails of the connecting box. The printed circuit board is preferably held in the connecting box by an adhesive layer. Simple assembly and disassembly of the components is possible as a result of the use of the printed circuit board. In addition, the heat generated in the components can be better dissipated via the printed circuit board.

Abstract: A double relay is described which has two relay actuators which are inserted into a common receptacle. Each relay actuator has a first fixed contact and a movable contact. Arranged on the receptacle are two second fixed contacts, in each case a second fixed contact being associated with a movable contact of a relay actuator. The receptacle has a plurality of connection pins by way of which an electrical contact may be made with the relay actuators and the second fixed contacts. The double relay can be manufactured at low cost.

Abstract: A terminal unit with a housing and a cover is described, a cable receiving opening for a terminal module being provided in the cover. Contact members are arranged in the housing and held pivotably on the housing. The contact members have contacts which make electric contact with an electrical lead when the contact member is swivelled from an open position into a contact position. The contact members have seating surfaces which form a receiving chamber for a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is part of the terminal module which can be slid into the aperture in the cover, conductors of the board making electric contact with the contacts of the contact members.

The printed circuit board with the first connector is swivelled about a swivel axis, which is held at the top, in the direction of the connector and at the bottom by an abutment. Escape by the connectors is prevented by engagement of the two outer walls of the connectors at a slide contact zone. Swivelling is only possible when the swivel axis has reached its desired position. Through swivelling of the arrangement, the blade contacts of the first connector make their way into the female contact elements of the second connector.

Abstract: The connecting box comprises contact elements which allow automatic contacting and assembling of a solar panel with the connecting box. The solar panel comprises fixed contacts suitable for automatic contacting with the contact elements of the connecting box. The contact elements of the connecting box comprise tapered receiving regions allowing automatic insertion of the fixed contacts of the solar panel into a contact region of the contact elements. Inexpensive production is possible as a result of automatic assembling of the panels with the connecting boxes.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetic relay with an electromagnetic coil for exciting a magnetic field and an iron circuit for guiding the magnetic field, wherein the electromagnetic coil surrounds at least part of the iron circuit and the iron circuit comprises a core, a movable armature and a yoke. The electromagnetic relay further comprises a contact system with a movable contact bridge which can be actuated dependent on the magnetic field. In order to provide an electromagnetic relay that is able to disconnect or connect a plurality of electric contacts simultaneously in a particularly secure and loss reduced manner, according to the present invention there are provided at least three electric contacts on the contact bridge. According to an advantageous embodiment, the contact system comprises three fixed contacts which are corresponding each to one of three phases and the contact bridge forms a star point of the three phases.

Abstract: A plug, in particular an igniter plug, which has a damping element on a contact element of the plug is described. In order to assemble it the damping element has a passageway, which is substantially matched to the crimp region of the contact element in cross-section. As a result of the arrangement of the damping element on the contact element, a small construction of the plug is made possible. Preferably, the crimp regions are arranged outside the plug housing, so that it is possible to install the cables later without having to open the plug housing.
