    Abstract: A handle assembly includes a bezel having a handle cavity defined by a cavity wall and an open front providing access to the handle cavity. The bezel has a slot through the cavity wall and a lamp assembly is mounted to the bezel proximate the slot. The lamp assembly includes a housing and a light pipe held by the housing, where the light pipe includes a first leg extending along a primary axis and a second leg extending along a secondary axis generally perpendicular with respect to the primary axis. The second leg has a lens along an inner surface of the second leg, wherein light is directed through the light pipe along the primary axis to a primary reflective surface provided at the intersection of the first and second legs. The primary reflective surface directs light along the second leg toward the lens.

A bottom wall of the header features a flange receiving opening for allowing a portion of the bottom wall to pass into a flange of the sealed housing. A plurality of contact receiving passageways passing through the bottom wall are positioned between portions of the flange receiving opening. At least one external contact receiving passageway passes through the bottom wall in the position which is adjacent to and outside of at least a portion of the flange receiving opening. This header allows electrical signals to be carried through the bottom wall both into the sealed assembly and also to other locations outside of the sealed assembly.

The grommet housing has a cylindrical wall defining a wire receiving area. One or more wires are positioned on the wire alignment tab and an overmolded wire seal is applied surrounding the wire(s) substantially filling the wire receiving area and being chemically bonded to the cylindrical wall. A panel seal is applied between the grommet hosing and a panel opening member and the locking projection serves to secure the grommet housing to the panel opening member.

A levered cam is used to bear on heat sink assembly. The levered cam is moveable from a first position in which the levered cam does not press the heat sink assembly against the frame to a second position in which the levered cam the heat sink assembly presses the heat sink assembly against the frame. A a handle connects the levered cams of the two attachment clips so that movement of the handle engages both levered cams simultaneously.

The actuator drives the contacts along the arcuate path between engaged and disengaged positions with the conductive member as the actuator moves along the longitudinal axis of the housing.
