    Abstract: A vector controller for a polyphase synchronous rectifier, a method of vector-controlling a polyphase synchronous rectifier, and a synchronous rectifier incorporating the vector controller or the method. In one embodiment, the vector controller includes: (1) an input line voltage detector configured to detect voltages on at least two rectifier input lines and produce therefrom a neutral excursion vector and (2) a neutral excursion compensator, coupled to said input line voltage detector, that applies said neutral excursion vector to a partially compensated drive vector to yield an excursion-compensated drive vector suitable for generation of excursion-compensated pulse-width modulated drive signals for said synchronous rectifier.

The environmental control system also includes a fan control subsystem, coupled to the voltage and battery temperature sensors, that activates the fan upon an occurrence of one of: the temperature of the battery exceeding a predetermined temperature, and the voltage associated with the battery exceeding a predetermined voltage.

A first output voltage of the multiple output converter is produced at the primary output via a magnetizing inductance associated with the transformer. The power converter includes a main active clamp circuit associated with a main power switch coupled to a primary winding of a transformer and a rectifier switch coupled to a secondary winding of the transformer. The main power switch conducts during a main conduction period of the power converter and the rectifier switch conducts during an auxiliary conduction period of the power converter. In one embodiment, the auxiliary active clamp circuit includes an auxiliary clamp capacitor, coupled across the rectifier switch, that stores a clamping voltage substantially equal to an off-state voltage of the rectifier switch.

A fixed component occupies a first volume that establishes a replaceable component volume between the first volume and the back plane. The system includes: (a) a substrate supporting the replaceable component that presents substantially parallel first and second edges in a substrate plane; and (b) a guide structure fixed with the cabinet that cooperates with the substrate to slidingly move the substrate along a replacement route between the front plane and a replacement locus in the replaceable component volume in alternate first and second installation movements. The first installation movement is responsive to a first installation force applied to the substrate in the substrate plane. The second installation movement is responsive to a second installation force applied generally perpendicular with the substrate plane.

    Abstract: The present invention provides for a self-aligned, panel mounted cord set, a method of manufacture therefor and an electronic equipment chassis employing the same. One end of the cord set is mounted in an aperture on a panel of an electronic equipment chassis (typically a back panel). The cord set self-aligns when mounted in the aperture to provide a mating connection with an electronic module housed in the chassis. In one embodiment of the invention the self-aligned panel mounted cord set has an elongated body with first and second opposing ends. Coupled to the first end is a power cord configured to mate with an electrical source, such as an AC wall outlet. Coupled to the second end is an electronic module connector configured to mate with the electronic module. About the elongated body is a flange with an alignment post thereon configured to align the elongated body with respect to the panel when positioned in the aperture.
