Abstract: A connector and a connector assembly are disclosed. The connector has a housing adapted to be inserted into a mating housing of a mating connector; an elastic latch provided on an outer wall of the housing and having a locking part for locking the mating housing and an unlocking part for unlocking the locking part; and a connection position safety mounted on the outer wall of the housing and adapted to be moved between a safety position to prevent the elastic latch from being unlocked and a pre locking position to allow the elastic latch to be unlocked. When the locking part is locked to the mating housing and the connection position safety is in the pre locking position, the unlocking part is hidden inside the connection position safety, so that human finger cannot contact the unlocking part. Therefore, the present invention can effectively prevent the elastic latch from being accidentally unlocked and improve the use safety of the connector.

A latching mechanism extends from the clamping portion, the latching mechanism has a securing which is movable between an unlocked position and a locked position.

Abstract: A detection device for detecting an insertion depth of a terminal of a cable connector inside a housing of the cable connector includes a positioning assembly and a detection assembly. The positioning assembly positions the housing of the cable connector. The detection assembly includes a first driving device, a sensing element mounted on the first driving device and movable by the first driving device, and a displacement sensor mounted on the first driving device and movable in a moving direction of the sensing element by the first driving device. The displacement sensor is connected to the sensing element and senses a displacement of the sensing element.

The elastic sealing washer is disposed between a base of the housing and the panel and seals a mating interface between the base and the panel. The elastic sealing washer has a through slot into which a protrusion formed on a bottom surface of the base is inserted. A thickness of the elastic sealing washer is greater than a height of the protrusion. The connection member connects the base of the housing, the elastic sealing washer, and the panel together. A difference between the thickness of the elastic sealing washer and the height of the protrusion is a predetermined value equal to a compression amount of the elastic sealing washer after the housing is installed on the panel.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a charging socket lead frame assembly and a charging socket. The charging socket lead frame assembly has a lead frame which has a frame body and an electrical connection structure arranged in the frame body. The lead frame is adapted to be installed in a cavity of a charging socket, and a plurality of terminals of the charging socket are adapted to pass through the frame body. One end of the electrical connection structure is exposed from the frame body to electrically connect with a lead of a temperature sensor. The lead frame is arranged in non-electrical contact with at least one signal terminal of the charging socket. Therefore, the structure of the lead frame can be simplified and the manufacturing difficulty and cost can be reduced.
