Abstract: A sterile pack comprising, in combination, a moulded plastics container (1) to which is attached a moulded plastics cap (20), the container being integrally sealed at its upper end, the neck of the container being provided with thread (3), an annular portion (10) of the neck above the thread being frangible, and the cap having a thread complementary with the container thread and means for contacting the container above the said annular portion, is characterized in that the thread (3) has a pitch of between 0.05 and 0.095 turns per millimeter per millimeter of thread diameter, and that the diameter of the frangible portion (10) of the container is at most 80% of the thread diameter.

Abstract: There is described a container and a closure cap therefor, wherein the neck of the container is screw-threaded and is provided with at least one lug beneath the screw thread, the closure cap comprising a top, a screw-threaded depending skirt and an annular band attached to the skirt by spaced bridges, the annular band being provided with one or more fins adapted to engage the lug(s) on the container neck, the annular band being deformable by radial pressure at positions spaced from the fin(s) to increase the diameter of the band in the region of the fin(s) such that the fin(s) do not engage the lug(s) on the container neck.

Abstract: There is described a non-refillable pourer fitment for the neck of a container comprising inner and outer parts captively attached to each other, a valve member located and movable in a longitudinal bore in the inner part and the outer part being formed with a longitudinal bore at its inner end and a dispensing aperture at its outer end, the longitudinal bore in the outer part varying in radius along its length from a portion of relatively large radius to a portion of relatively small radius, an obturator disc intermediate said portion of relatively small radius and said outer end having a radius greater than said relatively small radius. An inwardly extending peg on the obturator disc suitably controls the limit of movement of the valve member, and the obturator disc is preferably attached through spaced frangible stays to an annular ring adapted to fit tightly within the entrance of the bore of a container to which the fitment is fitted.
