    Abstract: A magnetic card reader assembly includes a magnetic read head being biased into a guide slot. The guide slot is defined by a first side wall, a second bottom wall and a third side wall. The first side wall has an opening for receiving the magnetic read head. A U-shaped member has a first leg and a second leg. The first leg is integrally connected to the first side wall as one piece unitary member. A read head mounting frame is fixedly connected to the magnetic read head.
