Abstract: In a method for determining, in particular predicting, at least one meteorological quantity for describing a current and/or past and/or future weather situation using a data processing device, (a) first meteorological parameters obtained from first measurements are assigned to grid points of a first grid. In the method, (b) at least one setting parameter, which can be entered via an interface, in particular a user interface, is received, and (c) the at least one meteorological quantity is determined from the first meteorological parameters, dependent on the at least one setting parameter, by applying a first algorithm, wherein preferably, the determined meteorological quantity is output at a user interface and/or is transmitted by an electronic message sending device.
Abstract: In a method for increasing the spatial resolution of a weather forecast, in which forecast predicted meteorological parameters are available for grid points of a first grid and the predicted meteorological parameters are interpolated to grid points of a second grid so as to obtain interpolated meteorological parameters, wherein the grid points of the second grid have a higher spatial resolution than the grid points of the first grid, a statistical postprocessing method is used to predict at least one output quantity of an analysis method by which forecast meteorological parameters can be interpolated to the grid points of the second grid.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system for furnishing information, in particular real-time information and/or forecast information, relative to the regulating of the power of at least one power grid, wherein the power grid comprises at least one transmission grid and/or at least one distribution grid and wherein the power grid is operatively connected to a plurality of particularly regenerative or renewable power plants, wherein the system comprises at least one receiver device for receiving data, in particular real-time data and/or forecast data, from at least one electronic database connected to the receiver device via a network, wherein the data is associated with a shut down and/or a downward regulation of the power plants in consequence of a feed-in management of the power grid, wherein the system further comprises a processing and/or computing device for processing the data so that it can be able to be linked and/or made available as information.
