Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a hollow body comprising at least one metallic or ceramic component, wherein a binder is mixed with a ceramic and/or metallic powder and the viscosity is set to a value in excess of 1000 Pa-s and the mixture then formed into a tube by means of one or more dies, wherein the so formed tube is then formed into a green compact by means of a blow molding process and subsequnetly converted into a brown compact by removal of the binder, wherein said brown compact is in turn converted into a finished hollow body through a thermal treatment step.
