The folding box is designed so that it can be reclosed in such a way as to be childproof again, and the folding box and the blister pack have cooperating means, which are designed so that the blister pack cannot be pulled completely out of the folding box.

Abstract: A device for automatically controlling the edges of a web of sheeting has a first deflecting roller and a second deflecting roller, which are arranged parallel to each other, and also a drive for shifting the deflecting rollers in opposite axial directions. A sensor detects the position of the sheeting. The drive shifts the deflecting rollers in opposite axial directions and the ratio between the friction of the sheeting on the first deflecting roller and the friction of the sheeting on the second deflecting roller is changed on the basis of the position of the sheeting detected by the sensor.

Abstract: The device for filling packaging receptacles with pharmaceutical products has a supply container for the pharmaceutical products and a feed device with at least one guide channel for conducting the pharmaceutical products by means of gravity from the supply container to the packaging receptacles. At least one high-voltage ionizer element supplied with alternating voltage is arranged in the area of the at least one guide channel.

Abstract: The device for the roll-sealing of sheets has a mating roll and a sealing roll, which presses against the mating roll with a sealing force, so that a molded sheet and a cover sheet can be guided between the sealing roll and the mating roll and sealed to form a sealed composite sheet structure. The surface of the mating roll has recesses to accept blister pockets of the molded sheet and a rippled structure. The elevations formed by the rippled structure comprise contact areas of different sizes.

Abstract: In a sealing machine a pair of juxtaposed foils are sealed together at web regions having oppositely directed outer surfaces between a pair of dies, at least one of which is formed with an array of bumps that taper outwardly toward a respective one of the outer surfaces. The bumps press into the one outer surface and form therein permanent cavities of a predetermined imprint depth so as to bond together the foils at the web region. A quality of seal is determined by measuring after formation of the cavities surface features of the cavities at a level of the one outer surface of the respective foil, and calculating based on the measured surface features an imprint depth of the cavity.

Abstract: A method for filling a plurality of containers in cycles at a predetermined number of stationary filling units arranged in a row with a first spacing from each other. The method includes providing a plurality of positively guided containers in a row, one-by-one, wherein the containers have a uniform second spacing from each other, wherein the first spacing of the individual filling units is a whole-number multiple of the second spacing of the containers, and filling a predetermined number of the containers simultaneously at the filling units. The containers are shifted in cycles along the filling units in a transport direction by a step length, which is a whole-number multiple of the second spacing of the containers and which is shorter than a third spacing between a first filling unit and a last filling unit steps of filling and shifting are repeated over a predetermined number of iterations.

Abstract: A conveyor for varied size and shape containers has a pair of feed screws mounted parallel to one another on opposite sides of a line of container travel. A mechanism is provided for moving the screws toward or away from one another in a manner to maintain an equal distance of each screw from the line of container travel. The screws are preferably formed with a helix having straight sidewalls that are at an angle of 90° to 100° to one another. In one embodiment one feed screw has a left hand helix and is rotated in a first direction and the other feed screw has a right hand helix and is rotated in a second direction opposite to the first direction.

Abstract: In a continuous-feed thermomolding machine a foil is advanced in a transport direction at a constant travel speed through a heat station where it is exposed to a heat source such that each piece of the foil is exposed for a predetermined residence time. When the machine is stopped, a shield is positioned in the station between the foil and the source so that substantially no heat is imparted to the foil from the source. The machine is started by accelerating the foil to the travel speed while simultaneously and synchronously accelerating the shield opposite to the travel direction such that, as the shield fully retracts from the station, the foil reaches the travel speed and, before the shield has fully retracted from the station, every piece of the foil in the station exposed by the retracting shield is exposed to the source for the residence time.

Abstract: An apparatus for switching a strip feed between supply rolls has first and second supports displaceable in a direction independently parallel to each other between an outer reload position and an inner supply position and respective first and second shafts on the supports extending parallel to the direction and adapted to carry respective rolls of strip. The strip is pulled off one of the rolls in the supply position of the respective support and fed continuously or in steps to a user. Respective cutters on each of the supports cut the respective strip, and respective gluers on each of the supports glue a leading end of the respective strip to a trailing end of the strip of the other roll.

Abstract: A feed and sorting device for tablets has a number of vertically extending filling tubes for tablets and a blocking slide unit for temporarily blocking the filling tubes. The blocking slide unit includes a base plate with first through-openings for the filling tubes, an upper retaining plate with second through-openings for the filling tubes, and a lower retaining plate with third through-openings for the filling tubes. The base plate is between the upper and lower retaining plates, and the first, second and third through-openings are at least partially aligned to allow the filling tubes to pass therethrough. Each blocking finger is supported in a receiving portion on the base plate and is secured thereto by the upper and lower retaining plates. Each blocking finger is assigned to one of the filling tubes, and the receiving portions are formed as recesses which, in a vertical direction, pass through the base plate.

A perforated plate is arranged downstream of the product outlet of the supply container on a base stand and serves to receive the individual products from the product outlet and to move them further in a transport direction while removing broken products and dust. A clamping strip is supported and removably fixed in a motion guideway of a motion guideway carrier mounted on the base stand. The motion guideway extends at an angle to a vertical direction. The clamping strip thus removably fixes the perforated plate to the base stand.

Abstract: A sealing tool for a sealing machine has a heat-conductive and normally heated support plate having an inner face and a heat-conductive seal plate having an outer face bearing in surface contact on the support-plate inner face. A central attachment extends between the plates across the faces at a point location and substantially prevents relative movement of the plates parallel to the faces at this point location. Outer attachments spaced outward from the central attachment press the faces together with a limited force such that the faces can slide parallel to each other at the outer attachments.

Abstract: An input device delivers objects one at a time to a transfer station next to a conveyor extending in a transport direction. A cassette defines an upwardly open stack well shaped to receive the objects and has a floor. The cassette is held in an upstream stack-forming position underneath the input device while the input device drops the objects one at a time into the well, and the floor of the cassette is stepped downward each time an object is dropped into the well by a distance generally equal to a vertical height of the object. When a predetermined number of the objects has been dropped into the well, the cassette is displaced downstream out of the upstream stack-forming position synchronously with the conveyor at the transport speed while the stack of objects in the well is pushed transversely of the direction out of the well into the conveyor.
