Abstract: An optical disc device includes a budging mechanism, a transmission assembly, a disc holding down plate, and a lock gate structure. The budging mechanism is moved by mechanically interfering with the optical disc entering the working area of the optical disc device to drive the transmission assembly mounted on one side of the optical device so as to further operate the disc holding down plate and the lock gate structure. In such mechanical connections, the working timing of all the device and mechanisms can be controlled so as to drive the lock gate to open or close the loading slot in the right time.
Abstract: A disc-conveying structure of slot-in optical disc device, mainly an optical disc device for optical disc, includes a switch device, cooperating with the action of the optical disc to start or close the procedure of disc-conveying; a roller device, which is a cylindrical roller pivotally connected to a main chassis of the optical disc device and formed as conveying device with driving of a motor; and a clamping device, which is a caging mechanism for optical disc and enables the optical disc to be conveyed to the correct working area so as to be accessed successfully by the disc read/write head.

Abstract: The present invention provides an image scanner comprising an automatic document feeder and a moveable light source. The image scanner uses a sensing device to detect the position of a lid, and uses a switch mechanism to control the power output of a motor. When the lid is at an “on” position, the power output of the motor will be transmitted to the automatic document feeder to scan opaque documents. When the lid is at an “off ” position, the power output of the motor will be transmitted to the light source to scan transparent documents. The transparent documents can be scanned without additional locating devices to locate transparent documents thus making the image scanner multi-functional and easy to use.
Abstract: A sheet-handling device includes a tray, two edge guides, an extensile plate and a linkage mechanism. The edge guides and the extensile plate are movably connected to the tray. The linkage mechanism is connected to the edge guides and the extensile plate. When the edge guides or the extensile plate is moved, other components are forced to move via the linkage mechanism.
