Abstract: Method and apparatus for conducting surveillance in a SS7 Intelligent Network (IN) or Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) provides in the case of AIN that an Info Analyzed trigger is armed in an end office switch and notifies a delivery function when a call is processed. The delivery function instructs the end office switch to forward the call to the delivery function, where it is accessed for monitoring forwarded back to the end office switch. A similar method is used to process calls received by the SUS. In the case of IN, the identity of a line card assigned to a subscriber under surveillance (SUS) is changed to a number dedicated to surveillance subjects. Calls originated by the SUS are forwarded to a delivery function, which identifies the SUS based on the dedicated number of the calling party, intercepts call content, and forwards the call back to the end office switch with the called party id aid the original number and id of the SUS. The end office switch then completes the call.
Abstract: A system for the intercept of wireless communications provides that a HLR of a wireless communications system includes one or more flags associated with each subscriber, and the HLR notifies an intercept server each time a call event is detected in the HLR for a subscriber under surveillance as indicated by the flags. The intercept server includes a Gateway Delivery Function module and one or more Delivery Function modules, wherein the Gateway Delivery Function module provisions the Delivery Function modules depending on the location of the suscriber, to deliver call content or data from an MSC to a collection function operated by a law enforcement agency. Non-call associated data is also provided to a Delivery Function module for delivery to a Collection Function.

Abstract: An object-oriented over-the-air service provisioning (OTASP) computer program is disclosed. The OTASP program is implemented in a client-server architecture, wherein a plurality of client programs operating on client platforms in a customer service centers, optionally in diverse geographical locations, communicate with the OTASP computer program. The OTASP computer program communicates with one or more mobile switching centers (MSC's) to process requests from the client programs and to request communication with mobile telephones using an over-the-air interface, in order to accomplish over-the-air service provisioning.
