Abstract: The invention broadly comprises a bookshelf system including a pair of stacking members fixedly attached to a mounting member. The shelf system also includes at least two ledges disposed on the lower surface of the mounting member, such that the at least two ledges are operatively arranged to hold a book cover. The at least two ledges can be disposed proximate a joint formed at the intersection of the mounting member and the stacking member. In some embodiments, a pair of ledges may be disposed on each side of each pair of stacking members. In some aspects, the joint is reinforced. A mounting hole or a mounting structure can be disposed on the mounting member to provide a mounting element with which to hang the shelf.
Abstract: A bracket assembly, including a mounting bracket and a cover plate. The mounting bracket has a wall portion and an extension portion. The wall portion includes a first end and is operatively arranged to be mounted to a substantially planar surface. The extension portion is integral with and extends outwardly from the wall portion and includes a second end. The extension portion is operatively arranged to hold a drapery rod. The cover plate has a first end and a second end. The cover plate is arranged to be attached to the wall portion of the mounting bracket.
Abstract: A multipurpose hook having a fragmentary breast member, a head integral with and extending upwardly from the breast member, the head having a face portion, a beak extending outwardly from the face portion, the beak having an upper member and a lower member, the upper and lower members separated by a slit, and a magnet embedded in the face portion adjacent and below the lower beak member.
Abstract: An aquarium assembly comprising a housing having an interior floor, the housing including one or more apertures, and an aquarium operatively arranged within the housing such that the aquarium is visible through the one or more apertures, where the aquarium matingly engages the interior floor when the aquarium is nested within the housing.
Abstract: A drapery holdback device comprising a flexible body having a first ply and a second ply, the body having a first end and a second end, a first magnet fixedly secured between the first and second plies proximate the first end, and a second magnet fixedly secured between the first and second plies proximate the second end where the flexible body is adapted to wrap about a drape and where the first magnet is magnetically engaged to the second magnet through a thickness of the drape.
Abstract: A dish drying assembly having a base member, a support member, a container and a rack member. The base member includes a top surface, a bottom surface, two sides, a rear end, and a front end having a drainage lip. A sloping support is secured to the base member and slopes downwardly from the rear end to the front end. The container is secured to the base member and has a first horizontal cross-sectional shape. The rack member includes a first opening and a plurality of slats. The first opening has a second horizontal cross-sectional shape that engages the first horizontal cross-sectional shape. A cross-sectional area of the first horizontal cross-sectional shape is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the second horizontal cross-sectional shape. Each slat of the plurality of slats is co-planar and parallel to one another, forming a corresponding plurality of slots that are equally spaced apart.
Abstract: A portable ping pong set having a net assembly comprising a first post having a first base member, a second post having a second base member, and a net fixedly secured within each of the first and second posts and extendible therebetween, the first and second base members operatively arranged to form an assembly base when the first and second base members are proximate one another, the assembly base having a first shape when the first and second base members are proximate one another; and, a paddle having a blade and retractable handle, the blade having a second shape, wherein the first shape and the second shape are substantially similar when the handle is retracted into the blade.
