The first textile panel is spaced apart from the second textile panel to define a gap between the first textile panel and the second textile panel on the article of apparel. Each of the plurality of textile panels possesses an elongation value and includes a plurality of reinforcing ribs extending across said textile panel. The textile material is positioned in the gap between the first textile panel and the second textile panel. The textile material possesses an elongation value that is different than the elongation value of each of the first textile panel and the second textile panel.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes an upper and an adjustable lacing system. The adjustable lacing system includes a plurality of fastener engaging elements located at the medial and lateral sides of the upper, where at least one of the medial side and the lateral side includes sets of fastener engaging elements. Each set of fastener engaging elements is distanced from another set in a direction transverse a lengthwise direction of the upper, and the fastener engaging elements are configured to engage with and retain a fastener structure that extends between the medial and lateral sides of the upper such that the fastener structure can be selectively engaged with different sets of fastener engaging elements to adjust a fit of the upper around a width of the foot disposed within the cavity.

Abstract: A sports accessory is provided to be worn by a user during a sport activity. The accessory includes a flexure system. The flexure system includes a support structure including a plurality of intersecting grooves disposed along a surface of the support structure, where a plurality of segments are defined along the surface of the support structure between the intersecting grooves such that the support structure is configured to flex along the grooves with segments moving in relation to other segments during use of the sports accessory.

The polymer structure is configured to lower the Poisson's ratio of the base layer. The polymer structure includes a plurality of interconnected members forming an array of cell units. The plurality of interconnected members form cell walls with interior recesses defined within the cell walls.

Abstract: A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a midsole, where the midsole includes a cut-out section extending from a top surface of the midsole to a depth within the midsole. A support structure is disposed within the cut-out section, the support structure including a rail structure and a support plate that is movable in a sliding manner along the rail structure in a lengthwise direction of the sole structure. An insert is disposed within the cut-out section above the support structure.

The pocket is sized and shaped to receive small personal items, such as smartphones, keys, money, credit cards, identification, etc.

Abstract: A method of making an article of footwear with an upper including a ribbon structure is disclosed. The method includes laying down ribbon elements in straight and winding sections. The method includes stitching or otherwise attaching the ribbon elements to a backing layer. The method also includes inserting a lace through loops in the ribbon structure.

The second sole structure is disposed in the midfoot region. An extension of the second sole structure that extends through the forefoot region is substantially covered by the first sole structure. A plurality of lugs extend downwardly from the bottom surface of the first sole structure. At least one lug extends downwardly from the extension of the second sole structure through the first sole structure. The first sole structure and the second sole structure have different durometers.

An elastic modulus of the covered fabric areas is different than an elastic modulus of the noncovered fabric areas. The printed layer is deposited on the fabric layer in a pattern configured to provide the cup with an elastic modulus gradient.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes a sole and an upper at least partially formed of a textile element. The textile element includes a yarn matrix having a plurality of interlocked strands oriented in predetermined directions. A structural element may be captured within the matrix at selected locations. In operation, the matrix is stitched onto a temporary substrate. The substrate is removed and the article coupled to a sole structure to form the article of footwear.

Abstract: An article of apparel is formed that is effective to regulate the temperature of the wearer. In an embodiment, a thermal regulation composition is applied to a surface of a textile substrate at a first temperature and a first pressure to form a thermal regulation membrane disposed on the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate with the thermal regulation membrane is compressed at a second pressure and a second temperature to position a portion of the thermal regulation membrane below the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate is incorporated into an article of apparel. The thermal regulation composition can include one or more system reactive components provided within a binder, where a system reactive components can include a cooling agent, a latent heat agent and/or a heat dissipation agent.
