Abstract: There is disclosed a hanging device for being secured to a brick. The device has an elongated member extending between a first end and a second end. The elongated member has a resiliently deformable section. The elongated member and the resiliently deformable section form a monolithic structure. A retaining structure is disposed on the elongated member between the first and second ends. Gripping members are each located at a respective one of the first and second ends of the elongated member and extend from the elongated member. The gripping members define abutting surfaces configured for contacting opposed sides of the brick. The abutting surfaces face each other and define a brick receiving space therebetween. A height of the brick receiving space is variable upon deformation of the resiliently deformable section. A method of supporting an object is also disclosed.

The body has a flange extending outwardly from the wall surface of the at least one peripheral wall and has an outer surface and an opposed inner surface. The flange is insertable into a channel of the object to engage the bracket with the object. The flange has at least one resilient member extending away from at least one of the inner and outer surfaces of the flange. The at least one resilient member is resiliently displaceable toward said surface of the flange upon the flange being inserted into the channel to abut the at least one resilient member against a surface of the channel. The bracket also has a position element extending outwardly from the body.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for hanging objects on a supporting wall includes a bracket with an outwardly extending shelf for supporting engagement with the object. A flange extends upwardly from the bracket and is secured by a fastener to the object. A marking device is removably mounted in an aperture formed in the bracket and has a sharp marking element extending therefrom. After the bracket is attached to the object by the fasteners and the marking element is positioned in the aperture, the object is pressed against the supporting wall at the desired hanging location whereupon the marking element marks the wall at the correct location for installing the hanging hardware. After the hanging hardware is installed at the marked locations, it is subsequently received in the bracket aperture after the marking element is removed therefrom to hang the object on the hanging hardware.

The wire guide device includes a connecting segment for connecting with the wall hardware device and a guiding segment for guiding the item hardware wire into engagement with the wall hardware device.
