Abstract: A wall-mounted ironing board swingable from an upright storage orientation to a horizontal use orientation is also pivotal about an upright axis to any one of a number of rotative positions once lowered to its horizontal orientation. The ironing board is carried therebeneath by an elongated support which extends substantially along the entire length of the board and which moves with the board during pivotal motion of the latter in a horizontal plane to the selected rotative position. The board is also shiftable along the length of the support toward either a retracted position or an extended position, and the inner end of the board when in the retracted position prevents pivotal motion of the board about the upright axis. An inclined brace extending upwardly from the wall cabinet is fixed to the support and is pivotal therewith as the board swings from one rotative orientation to another.
