Abstract: The present invention relates a toner cartridge used for a laser printer. The toner cartridge comprises: a toner tank for storing fresh toner and a waste toner tank for storing waste toner obtained after development. When the toner cartridge is installed in a laser printer, the toner tank has a toner supplying section at a lower portion in a vertical direction thereof for supplying toner to an external environment. Two inner surfaces of the toner tank, arranged in a transverse direction of the toner tank and parallel with a direction in which the toner cartridge is installed into the laser printer, keep in a plane state at positions higher than the toner supplying section and are parallel with the vertical direction.

The torque receiving assembly having a body having an axis and having an accommodating chamber; a driven shaft disposed coaxially with the body, the driven shaft including a guide stem and a coupling head provided at one axial end of the guide stem, the guide stem having a pair of output arms which extend outwardly in a radial direction, the coupling head having a plurality of projections; wherein a pair of input arms are provided at an inner wall of the accommodating chamber and configured for abutting with the output arms; the guide stem is movable in the axial direction relative to the body, the torque receiving assembly further has a distance-limiting mechanism that defines a maximum distance the driven shaft is able to move relative to the body in the axis direction. The photosensitive drum and process cartridge according to the present invention both include the torque receiving assembly.

Abstract: A process cartridge used in an image forming apparatus, the process cartridge having a photosensitive drum, a developer roller, a conductive electrode and a rectifier. The photosensitive drum and the developer roller are contacted with each other. The conductive electrode is contacted with a power supply electrode in the image forming apparatus to receive a developing bias. The rectifier converts an alternating current bias voltage into a direct current bias voltage. The rectifier is electrically connected between the conductive electrode and the developer roller. A rectifier converting an alternating current bias voltage into a direct current bias voltage is added into a contact process cartridge in the present invention. Therefore, the contact process cartridge can be applied to a printer using a jumping development method.

Abstract: The present invention provides a driving component, a photosensitive drum and a process cartridge. The driving component comprises a gear having one fixed end and a regulating component having a rotational driving force receiver outside the other end projecting from the gear. The regulating component is provided within the gear by being moved reciprocally and translationally along the gear's longitudinal direction and a first direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction relative to the gear. A spring support part and a longitudinal position limit part are provided between the regulating component and the gear. The rotational driving force receiver is provided inside the regulating component by rotating around its own axis. Compared to the existing technology, the process cartridge using this driving component has a smooth engagement with a printer, reliable performance and stable work.

Abstract: Disclosed is a toner cartridge, which comprises a case, a toner outlet and a gate that can slide to close the toner outlet. The inside of the gate has a bump which can be resisted by the opening mechanism to open the toner outlet. The outside of the gate has an elastic buckle which can be resisted by the closing mechanism to close the toner outlet. The outside of the toner feeding compartment has a notch; the bottom surface of the notch is connected with the outside of the toner feeding compartment through the guiding slope. When the gate is in the closing position, the elastic buckle and the notch coordinate; when the gate is in the opening position the elastic buckle separates from the notch and is put on the outside surface of the toner feeding compartment.

Abstract: The present invention provides a driving component, and a photosensitive drum and a process cartridge comprising the driving component. The driving component comprises a gear fixed at one end of the photosensitive drum and a longitudinal regulating component. The longitudinal regulating component comprises a first motion subassembly, a groove part and a central shaft part. The groove part has an upper chute and a lower chute which are orthogonal in space. The first motion subassembly forms relative slide coordination with the upper chute along a first direction. The central shaft part has a common axis with the gear which forms relative slide coordination with the lower chute along a second direction. The first direction and the second direction are all perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum.

Abstract: A charging device having a corona grid and a fur brush. The corona grid has a side wall and a lower wall adjacent to the side wall. The lower wall is provided with a plurality of grids. A corona wire is provided above the lower wall of the corona grid, wherein a decompression module is provided between the corona grid and said fur brush. One end of the decompression module is connected with the corona grid and the other end is connected with the fur brush. A photosensitive drum component is also disclosed.

Abstract: An ink cartridge includes a main body and a cover. A liquid storing chamber and an air introducing post for communicating the liquid storing chamber with the outside atmosphere are disposed in the main body. A liquid filling port is disposed on the cover. A balancing chamber, a detecting chamber, and a floater are disposed in the main body. The balancing chamber and the detecting chamber are in communication with each other via a through hole. The detecting chamber and the liquid storing chamber are in communication with each other via a liquid guiding port. The floater, whose density is lower than that of the ink liquid, is located in the detecting chamber. The lower portion of the air introducing post communicates with the outside atmosphere via a waterproof sponge. The ink cartridge may conveniently monitor usage of ink liquid in the main body and reduce residual ink.

Abstract: An ink cartridge for inkjet printers is disclosed. The inkjet cartridge comprises a case, an ink supply chamber, and an ink storage chamber. The ink supply chamber and the ink storage chamber are inside the case. An ink outlet is provided on a sidewall of the case. The ink supply chamber is connected or linked in a low position with the ink outlet and in a high position with an air vent. The ink storage chamber is connected or linked in a low position with the ink supply chamber through a first passageway and a second passageway; the second passageway is below the ink outlet but above the first passageway. The cartridge has a simple structure. It eliminates the need of air pump and provides constant supply of ink to the print head. It avoids ink overflow caused by the temperature change in the environment.

Abstract: A one-way valve, a valve unit assembly and ink cartridge using this valve or valve unit assembly for controlling ink flow are disclosed. The one-way valve includes a foot support portion, a wall support portion projecting at an angle from an interior side of the foot support portion, a shoulder support portion bending towards an interior side of the wall support portion, and a head support portion projecting from a shoulder support portion with a through hole. The valve unit assembly includes a bottom cover with a through hole for holding the one-way valve, a pressing cover with a through hole, and an elastic one-way valve disposed between the bottom cover and the pressing cover. The pressing cover is maintained selectively in contact with the head support portion through hole by a pressure difference. The one-way valve and the valve unit assembly are disposed in an ink chamber to replace a porous member usually used in the ink chamber.

Abstract: This relates to an intelligent ink cartridge and method for manufacturing the same. The ink cartridge comprises at least one ink chamber for containing ink, an electronics module for storing identification information of the ink cartridge and ink remaining data. The electronics module comprises a micro-controller with embedded non-volatile memory, for storage, controlling, calculation and accessing of ink remaining data, so that the maximum ink capacity of the ink cartridge for use with the printer can be improved.

Abstract: The ink cartridge comprises a cartridge body with an ink chamber. On one side of the cartridge body is provided an ink supply port, and an air channel is positioned on the opposite side. The ink chamber is composed of a main chamber and a communicating sub-chamber, and ink-out inspection prism being provided close to the communicating portion. A check valve through which the sub-chamber is communicated with the ink supply port is provided sideways between the sidewalls adjacent to the ink supply port. In this invention, the nominal volume of each ink cartridge is increased, and there is no such problem that a certain amount of ink continues to be fed after the ink-out indicative signal being sent out in case of no porous material. Further, the technical solution of the sideways-provided check valve improves the manufacturability and the ink supply stability.

Abstract: An attachable and detachable continuously supplying ink container comprises two or more shell bodies that are separated from each other and substantially sealed. Each shell body is provided with an ink filling port having a cap, an air filter and an ink outlet port. Each shell body may form a continuously supplying ink container after it has been filled with ink. The ink container can supply ink to a corresponding print head or cartridge by means of a tube being connected with its ink outlet port. Each shell body of the ink continuously supplying container is provided with a connecting part for connecting an adjacent shell body of the continuously supplying ink container. Several shell bodies may be connected to each other and form a unit via the connecting parts. Accordingly, this provides convenience of use and a reduction of manufacturing cost and user cost.

Abstract: The invention involves seal rings useful for ink cartridges. The invention also involves ink cartridges having such seal rings. The seal ring comprises a tube-shaped, elastic part having an insertion opening at its lower end for receiving an ink supply needle. The top of the insertion opening includes a top sealing film. The top sealing film closes in its natural state and prevents ink from leaking through. The seal ring of the invention is simple in structure and effective in preventing ink from leaking out.
