  • Patent number: 9532668
Abstract: A rotatable display for containing an article including a coin. The rotatable display can include an article receptacle for holding the article, which can be easily rotated by a user. The article receptacle can have an outer flange. A display panel can rotatably capture the article receptacle. The display panel can include a first display layer and an annular retaining structure mounted to the first display layer rotatably capturing the outer flange of the article receptacle against the first display layer. The annular retaining structure can be deflectable against the outer flange. The annular retaining structure can have a smooth slippery surface, and can be configured for deflecting away from the first display layer and to facilitate rotation of the outer flange and the article receptacle relative to the display panel.

  • Patent number: 7100761
Abstract: A display for a collectible item, such as a coin, in which the collectible item may be rotated relative to the display. In one embodiment, the display comprises a bubble, which can be a semi-rigid transparent material, supported between at least two layers of support material, which can be a rigid material such as card-stock, which are adhered together. The bubble includes a capsule for encapsulating the collectible item, and a flange extending from an outer perimeter of the capsule. The capsule of the bubble is aligned within an opening in the support material so that the collectible item may be viewed. The flange contacts the support layers, and permits the bubble to be rotated within the display. The display also includes an apparatus for rotatably securing the flange between the support layers, which can be a high-gloss heat-resistant coating applied to the support layers over the areas in which the support layers contact the flange.

  • Publication number: 20020185856
Abstract: A stamp product is described which is self-adhesive and adheres to a release liner. The product is imprinted with stamp graphics and perforated about the periphery of the graphics and through the liner to define each stamp. The liner is cut opposite each stamp making each stamp accessible by tearing both liner and stamp at the perforations or by removal of the liner at each stamp and then tearing the stamp at the perforations.

  • Patent number: 5191972
Abstract: A device for storage and display of small, generally planar articles such as coins or the like, comprises one or more generally planar compartments for displaying a face of one or more articles. The articles are held in a cavity, preferably a closed, dust-tight cavity, of a generally planar article holder having a pair of opposed walls having the cavity therebetween. The article holder is releasably held in a display compartment by a generally planar retainer member which bears against an article holder which is correctly positioned in the display compartment. The article holder is also prevented from lateral movement in the display compartment and is thus held in an article viewing position in the display compartment whereby an article which is correctly positioned in the article holder is properly positioned in a display compartment and is viewable through an aperture in the retainer and through a transparent wall of the holder.
