Abstract: A method of conveying a location information representing a physical location of a communication device to another communication device comprises acquiring by the communication device a first location information and a second location information, the second location information being acquired subsequently to the acquiring of the first location information and detecting by the communication device a deviation of the second location information from the first location information representing a change of the physical location of the communication device.

Abstract: In a method and system for controlling voice communication of a first person with at least a second person via a communication network a first microphone receives and converts vocal utterances from the first person to a voice signal. A first processor generates a transmission signal by processing the voice signal. A transmitter sends the transmission signal to a receiver. The receiver generates a listening signal by processing the received signal and transmits the listening signal to a speaker. The speaker converts the listening signal to an acoustic signal to be perceived by the first person. In this method a second processor generates the listening signal from the received signal by branching the voice signal and adding the branched voice signal to the received signal. The branched voice signal may be subjected to variable attenuation and/or amplification before being added to the branched voice signal to the received signal.
Abstract: A method for deblocking filtering a macroblock on the basis of a coding standard for image information which is stored in macroblocks. A context region comprising the blocks of a first macroblock to be filtered is formable from blocks which are arranged adjacent to one another horizontally in block rows and adjacent to one another vertically in block columns. The blocks of the context region can be filtered on the basis of the coding standard for image information.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method, a communication system, and a communication device for transmitting data to a first subscriber, within the framework of a connection signaling from a first primary service communication device of the first subscriber to a second primary service communication device, a primary address information message associated with the first primary service communication device and a secondary address information message associated with a first secondary service communication device of the first subscriber is transmitted to the second primary service communication device. Abstract: Clients in a data network can subscribe to CTI Services and in this regard must be reachable by the CSTA gateway (CCGW). If this is not the case, because for example an error occurs in the data network, then the transmission of unnecessary messages can be prevented or stopped. The clients can be connected via a server to the CCGW, where the server monitors the status of the clients and acknowledges the messages addressed to an unreachable client with error messages. The server is preferably an XMPP server and the clients are preferably XMPP clients. In order to permit transport of the CSTA messages via XMPP, info/query stanzas according to RFC 3920 can be used, since they have the advantage over message stanzas that they can be acknowledged by a remote station.

Abstract: A method and apparatus that tests video quality includes a superimposing of at least one code to a video that is to be transmitted by a communication device to another communication device. The at least one code is transmitted such that the superimposed at least one code is extractable and readable from the decoded video by the device that receives the transmitted video. The extracted at least one code may then be read to determine the quality level of the transmitted video. The determination of quality for the received video may be based upon one or more tests performed using at least one code extracted from the received video.

Abstract: A method for outputting sensitive data to a user includes a communication terminal checking to determine whether at least a portion of the sensitive data is to be outputted by determining whether the communication terminal is in one of a plurality of predefined communication configurations for outputting the sensitive data. If the communication terminal is found to be a first configuration, the communication terminal transmits the sensitive data so that at least one of the video data and the audio data is output to the user via at least one peripheral device connected to the communication terminal. If the communication terminal is in a second configuration, the communication terminal performs at least one security action to help further protect the sensitive data.
