Abstract: A method and composition is provided for coloring hair. The method includes applying and thereafter removing from the hair a composition which includes a colorant formula incorporating an oxidation dye precursor and a developer formula incorporating an alkoxylated taurate copolymer in combination with hydrogen peroxide. The colorant and developer formulas are applied to the hair separately or together in a relative weight ratio of 10:1 to 1:10. Particularly preferred alkoxylated taurate copolymers are hydrophobically modified copolymers of acrylamidopropane sulphonic acid or salt and methacrylate esters of ethoxylated or propoxylated fatty alcohols.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a structured premix or “delivery vehicle” composition designed as a carrier to enhance the benefit (e.g., via enhanced deposition or other mechanism) of a separate hydrophobic benefit agent(s) (for example, perfumes, skin lightening agents, etc.), from personal product compositions (e.g., liquid and bar cleansers, creams, emulsions, hair composition, deodorant etc.). When the structured benefit agent composition is separately prepared and combined with the personal product composition (preferably while structured, premix composition is still in molten or liquid state), the personal product composition with structured benefit agent carrier provides enhanced deposition of the structured benefit agent and enhanced effect of the separate hydrophobic benefit agent(s) in or on the carrier or in the presence of structured benefit agent carrier.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a device for dispensing a unit dose water-soluble pouch containing a laundry additive during the spin cycle of a washing machine process having a spinning wash drum. The device is attached to the vertical center post of a washing machine and holds a water-soluble pouch above the high water level. During the spin cycle, the spinning center post will create sufficient centrifugal force so that the water-soluble pouch is released from the device. The water-soluble pouch will then fall into the laundry where the water-soluble pouch will dissolve when rinse water fills the machine thereby releasing the laundry additive to treat the washed articles.
