Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and equipment for carrying out the degradation of various organic products or waste in an anaerobic medium. The equipment comprises a plurality of ducts for reinjecting biogas into a fermentation vat sidewise spaced from each other and disposed at least in the major part of the vat, the duct being fed with biogas individually or in groups through independent valves so as to subdivide the fermentation vat into sectors independently fed with biogas. Preferably, a container is provided for storing biogas under pressure. These features lead to a simplification of the equipment and a decrease in the manufacturing costs.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for carrying out a degradation in an anaerobic medium, such as a methanogenesis, of organic products, by-products or waste from human, animal and/or plant origin, involving feeding said products to be degraded into a closed fermentation vessel, forcing said products to flow in a direction of circulation within said vessel and recovering the gas produced called biogas evolved above said body of degraded products, with the feeding and/or discharge of the products performed pneumatically, preferably through pneumatic thrust and, according to a preferred embodiment, by injection of gas, preferably biogas. A further improvement comprises using the biogas produced for homogenizing said body of products contained within said vessel, the pressure of injection being in relation to the actual density of the products, in the injection related section.

Abstract: This invention concerns a drilling installation comprising a base which rests on the ground, a rig, a winch, items of equipment such as a drill-pipe storage coffer, and a working floor which is raised above the base, surrounding the rig.The installation is characterized by the fact that it comprises a carrying platform designed to take the rig, and which can be moved from a low position in contact with the base to a high position, and which is connected by a suitable lifting device to lifting uprights attached to the base. The platform also carries the working floor and items of equipment.The invention more specifically concerns drilling installations for oil-drilling operations.

Abstract: A method of fluidifying powderous substances which are in contact with a wall, wherein the surface of the wall in contact with said substances is provided with at least one substantially semi-lenticular chamber delimited by said surface and by a flattened dome made of a resiliently flexible material. The invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out this method.

Abstract: A device for slidingly displacing or shifting a heavy load along a sliding comprises a platform provided with double-acting hydraulic jacks and resting on a guide rail. The platform is provided with hooks movable in a vertical direction and adapted to penetrate, when in their lowered position, apertures provided in the rail. Each hook has an oblique surface at the front end of the hook, which surface forms a sliding ramp adapted to slide on the front edge of an aperture wherein the hook is engaged. Each hook further has a locking surface at its rear end, which is adapted to cooperate with the rear edge of said aperture. The distance between any two adjacent ones of the apertures provided in the rail is at least substantially equal to the stroke length of the jacks, whereby the actuation of the jacks allows the load to be displaced by incremental movements.
