  • Publication number: 20210357267
Abstract: A system and method for the dynamic, run-time configuration of logic core register files, and the provision of an associated execution context. The dynamic register files as well as the associated execution context information are software-defined so as to be virtually configured in random-access memory. This virtualization of both the processor execution context and register files enables the size, structure and performance to be specified at run-time and tailored to the specific processing, instructions and data associated with a given processor state or thread, thereby minimizing both the aggregate memory required and the context switching time. In addition, the disclosed system and method provides for processor virtualization which further enhances the flexibility and efficiency.

  • Patent number: 11176106
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that perform dynamic database schema modification. A database system may receive a request to change a schema. In response to receiving the request to perform the dynamic schema modification, the database system may complete pending transactions and begin modifying the database schema. Any requests to access the database received prior to completion of the modification may be paused, thereby allowing the database to remain online and continue receiving requests while the modification is in progress. After completion of the modification, the paused requests may be resumed.

  • Publication number: 20210336812
Abstract: A video conferencing system includes a video camera, a computer device and a remote device. The video camera captures video from a field of view and translates the video into digital video data. The computer device is connected to the video camera for receiving the digital video data. The computer device also has software that enables a user to select allowed or blocked portions of the video. The remote device is connected to the computer device via a communications link and the remote device receives only the allowed video. Thus a user can selectively choose what portions of the video available in the field of view are transmitted to the remote device and what portions of the video available in the field of view are not transmitted to the remote device.

  • Patent number: 11157310
Abstract: A method and system for migrating Extensible Markup Language (XML) schemas between releases of a computing application. The method provides first and second versions of an XML document by the computing application, each version having a different schema. The first version is migrated to the second version using a migration step. The method uses a Dependency injection Framework to abstract the characteristics of the at least one migration step. The method also transforms the first schema to the second schema, based on the abstracted characteristics of the at least one migration step, in such a way that the first version of the XML document is migrated into the second version of the XML document. The method migrates the first version into the second version in such a way that the second version can access application data from the first version.
