Abstract: A method for controlling backlight of portable electronic device in hysteresis manner pre-sets the portable electronic device in a default mode and senses a background brightness. The portable electronic device is operated at a daylight mode when the sensed background brightness is larger than a first threshold. When the portable electronic device is operated at the daylight mode and the sensed background brightness is smaller than a second threshold, the portable electronic device is again operated at the default mode, where the second threshold is much smaller then the first threshold to provide hysteresis effect. Therefore, the backlight can be turned off when the background brightness is sufficient. A rapid switch between default mode and daylight mode can be prevented by the hysteresis-manner control and user dizziness caused by rapid modes switch can also be prevented.

Abstract: A trigger device includes a retaining frame, a swing arm, a toggle switch, a resilient member and a touch component. An end of the swing arm is connected to the middle of the retaining frame, and another end of the swing arm is connected to a magnetic sensor, and an end of the toggle switch is pivotally connected to the top of the retaining frame. The swing arm forms a pressing rod disposed on the toggle switch and pressed for swinging the swing arm. The retaining frame and swing arm are connected to the resilient member, and the touch component is mounted into the retaining frame and installed at another end of the toggle switch. An elastic button is installed between the touch component and the toggle switch for pressing the toggle switch. Obvious feel and tough can be provided to enhance the operability and convenience of the trigger device.

Abstract: A reader with a radio frequency identification function for reading a signal of an electronic tag includes a casing, a first circuit board, a second circuit board and a transmission interface. The casing in a racket shape is composed of an upper casing and a lower casing. Each of the upper and lower casings has a large-area receiving portion with a surface in a racket shape. The first circuit board is installed in the large-area receiving portion and can be designed with a large area of RFID antenna pattern. The second circuit board can be installed on the radio frequency identification (RFID) circuit. After the antenna of the first circuit board receives a signal from the electronic tag, the signal is processed and stored by the second circuit board or transmitted to an external computer through a transmission interface installed on the casing.

Abstract: A housing of a handheld electronic device includes a front and a rear shell, a bottom cover, a cover body, and a battery cover. A bearing portion and a battery receiving room are formed above and below the backside of the rear shell. A waterproof structure comprises a main body gasket, a cover body gasket, and a battery cover gasket. The top and bottom ends of the main body gasket are connected to a top gasket and a bottom cover gasket. The main body gasket and the top gasket are embedded at the adjoining profile and the topside between the front and rear shells. The bottom cover gasket is embedded between the bottom side of the housing and the bottom cover. The cover body gasket is embedded between the cover body and the bearing portion. The battery cover gasket is embedded between the battery receiving room and the battery cover.

Abstract: A waterproof structure installed in card machine includes a rigid support and a flexible support. The rigid support, formed of plastics, includes a frame that internally extends into two transversal bars. The transversal bars oppositely connect a receptacle frame located between the transversal bars so that a magnetic head of the card machine can be tightly arranged in the receptacle frame. The flexible support, formed of rubber material, includes a central region where a fixation slot is defined. The fixation slot matches with the receptacle frame to fixedly fasten the magnetic head. An opening is defined in the fixation slot, whereby the magnetic head can connect into a flexible circuit carrier. On upper and lower sides of the fixation slot, a clamping member composed of semi-ringed flanges is arranged around the fixation slot to tightly clamp the transversal bars of the rigid support.
