    Abstract: A universal support pillow usable by both back and side sleepers includes a first chamber having multiple filled compartments that define a first side of the pillow and a second filled chamber that defines a second side of the pillow. The multiple compartments of the first chamber are designed particularly to receive a head of a back sleeper, and the second chamber is designed to receive a head of a side sleeper. The universal support pillow, in one version, includes a closable opening that is disposed between the two chambers for receiving a pillow insert to provide user-customized thickness and firmness characteristics of the universal support pillow. Multiple types of pillow inserts having different thickness and/or firmness characteristics may be provided, wherein a user is able to select one of the pillow inserts based on the user's sleep pillow preferences.

    Abstract: A filling material is produced by separating fibers of polyester, processing the separated polyester fiber, obtaining silver nylon material, separating the silver nylon, processing the separated silver nylon, and blending the processed polyester fiber and the processed silver nylon to produce a blend of polyester and silver nylon. The blend is further processed, and is subsequently combined a number of times with processed polyester fiber to produce a blend of polyester and silver nylon having preferably between 5% and 10% by weight silver nylon. Pillows, blankets, comforters, sleeping bags, upholstered pieces of furniture and other items may be manufactured with the filling material.

    Abstract: A body pillow includes an outer enclosure, first, second and third chambers disposed within the outer enclosure, the first and second chambers disposed adjacent to one another, and the second and third chambers disposed adjacent to one another, each of the first, second and third chambers adapted to be filled by respective filling material, a first baffle disposed between the first and second chambers, and a second baffle disposed between the second and third chambers, the first and second baffles adapted to prevent filling material within each of the first, second and third chambers from shifting to an adjacent one of the chambers. Beneficially, among other benefits, the body pillow's baffles prevent filling material disposed within each of the chambers from shifting to adjacent chambers, both during normal use of the body pillow and during washing.
