Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for performing online payment transactions from any web page being accessed on a client device by automatically generating a payment application icon on the web page through which a user can make payments. The content of the web page may be analyzed to determine if the user is conducting a payment. When a payment request is identified, a payment application icon is displayed on the web page. When the user interacts with the payment application icon, a payment prompt is displayed where the user can input payment information. Upon the user providing payment information, a payment server transmit a payment to an account associated with the web page, based on the user's payment information.

Abstract: An augmented reality structural assessment system may include a display device, at least one sensor configured to generate image data from a structure, and a processor. The processor may receive the image data that represents one or more portions of the structure and receive motion data representative of a number of steps traversed by a user about the structure. The processor may generate a visualization of a scenario related to based on a scenario related to structural damage to the one to the one or more portions of the structure of the image data. The visualization may be presented to a user via the display device, such that the visualization augments a view of the structure via the display device to include the one or more dimensions. The processor may then receive input data regarding one or more assessments of damage to the structure corresponding to the scenario, the image data, and the one or more dimensions, and store the data regarding one or more assessments of damage in a storage component.

Abstract: A user interface system may include a processor. The processor may perform operations including receiving a wireless signal from multiple wireless devices. The operations may also include determining a signal strength of each wireless signal from each of the multiple wireless devices based on a first set of properties associated with a respective wireless signal. Moreover, the operations may include determining a signal vector of each wireless signal from each of the multiple wireless devices based on a second set of properties associated with the respective wireless signal. Additionally, the operations may include determining a location for each of the multiple wireless devices based on the signal strength and the signal vector. Further, the operations may include pairing one of the multiple wireless devices to the user interface system based on the location for each of the plurality of wireless devices.

Abstract: Techniques for detecting counterfeit checks include using sensors to determine correspondence between items detected on a check using machine vision. Correspondence between different items on a received check is used to generate a check score, which is compared to a risk-based threshold to determine how a transaction involving the check should be handled.

Abstract: An image processing system or electronic device may implement processing circuitry. The processing circuitry may receive an image, such as financial document image. The processing circuitry may determine a character count for the financial document image or particular portions of the financial document image without recognizing any particular character in the financial document image. In that regard, the processing circuitry may determine a top left score for pixels in the financial document, the top left score indicating or representing a likelihood that a particular pixel corresponds to a top left corner of a text character. The processing circuitry may also determine top right score for image pixels. Then, the processing circuitry may identify one or more text chunks using the top left and top rights scores for pixels in the financial document image. The processing circuitry may determine a character count for the identified text chunks.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting if a vehicle is being parked in a garage is disclosed. The method includes detecting sensory information at a vehicle and comparing the sensory information with ambient conditions outside of a garage to determine if the vehicle is likely in the garage or outside. The sensory information may also be compared to ambient conditions inside of a garage to determine if the vehicle is likely inside the garage or not. The method also includes sending reminders to vehicle owners who are not using their garage frequently. The method also includes automatically adjusting an insurance policy according the frequency of garage use.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the technology described herein alleviate the need to specifically request enrollment information from a user to enroll the user in a voice biometric authentication program. For example, the system can receive a verbal request or a verbal command and non-voice biometric authentication information from a user. The user can be authenticated via a first authentication method using the non-voice biometric authentication information. After the user is authenticated using the first authentication method, the system enrolls the user into a voice biometric authentication program for at least one portion of the verbal request or the verbal command without requesting enrollment information.

Abstract: A system may include a processor that may receive account information having a plurality of transactions associated with a bank account. The processor may then determine an expected burn rate of funds based on the account information, determine an expected savings balance at a first time based on the account information and the expected burn rate, generate an event in response to the expected savings balance being below a threshold, and send an alert including the event to a computing device associated with the user. The alert may indicate a status of the expected savings balance via an electronic display of the computing device.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose technology for allocating funds related to one or more in-game purchases when users interact with a gaming application. Based on the interactions of a user with the gaming application running on a client device of the user, a gaming server receives information of an in-game purchase by the user. The gaming server notifies a second computer server of the in-game purchase which sends an activation link to the user. When the second computer detects selection of the activation link, funds are electronically transferred from the gaming application to one or more accounts. In some embodiments, the funds allocated to the one or more accounts can be a percentage of the in-game purchase amount.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods of executing scanning software, such an executable software program or script (e.g., PowerShell script), by a computing device of an enterprise, such as a security server, may instruct the computing device to search all or a subset of computing devices in an enterprise network. The scanning software may identify PowerShell scripts containing particular malware attributes, according to a malicious-code dataset. The computing system executing the scanning software may scan through the identified PowerShell scripts to identify particular strings, values, or code-portions, and take a remedial action according to the scanning software programming.
