Abstract: A method includes in response to receiving identification information from a caller, selecting a virtual machine from a plurality of virtual machines, the virtual machine configured to generate a virtual user interface for an application executing on the virtual machine. The method includes populating the virtual user interface with information about the caller based on the received identification information. The method includes sharing the virtual user interface with an application executing on a computer of a customer service representative. The method includes connecting the caller with the customer service representative.

Abstract: An alignment guide may be provided in the field of view of a camera associated with a mobile device used to capture an image of a check. When the image of the check is within the alignment guide in the field of view, an image may be taken by the camera and provided from the mobile device to a financial institution. The alignment guide may be adjustable at the mobile device. The image capture may be performed automatically by the camera or the mobile device as soon as the image of the check is determined to be within the alignment guide. The check may be deposited in a user's bank account based on the image. Any technique for sending the image to the financial institution may be used.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for making a pre-payment. In some embodiments, a user is provided with a mobile wallet; information populating at least one payment instrument to the mobile wallet is received; information that the mobile wallet is usable with respect to the vehicle is received; information that the mobile wallet has been presented by the vehicle to a payment location is received; an authorized pre-payment corresponding to items or an amount associated with the payment location is received; a token is received from the user at the payment location; and the pre-payment is settled using the payment instrument.

One of the methods includes identifying a number of callers. The method also includes dynamically adjusting a number of customer service representatives based on the number of callers.

Abstract: Implementations provide a calendar application for dynamic scheduling and adjustment of events, such as sequential training events. The calendar application is used to specify events that are to occur within a schedule of events, an order in which the events are to occur, and a duration for each event. The calendar application is also used to specify available time periods in which the events may be scheduled. Based on the specified events and available time periods, the events are scheduled into available time periods to generate a calendar, a schedule of the events that preserves the specified order of events. On detecting a change in the inputs, such as a change in the specified events and/or available time periods, the calendar may be automatically updated (in real time with respect to the change) to accommodate the change, while preserving the order and duration of events.

Abstract: Methods and systems for rules-based data access are described. In some embodiments, a request for access to customer data by a requesting entity is received; the data is categorized; the person's preferences with respect to allowing access to data are compiled; a requesting entity is determined; and the providing entity that collected each requested data item is determined. Data shareability rules are evaluated based on the policies that regulate the access of the customer data and the requesting entity, and the customer data is provided to the requesting entity according to the evaluation.

Abstract: A user may provide a financial card to an automated teller machine (ATM) or point of sale (POS) terminal and may be authenticated by providing a gesture and/or an image selection via a mobile device to the ATM or the POS. The gesture and/or image selection may be provided using a touchscreen of the mobile device. The gesture and/or image provided by the user via the mobile device may be compared to a stored gesture and/or image provided by the user during an earlier registration of the financial card. If there is a match between the gesture and/or image provided by the user via the mobile device and the previously stored gesture and/or image, then the user is authenticated and may access an account associated with the financial card.

Abstract: Enhanced electronic security systems and methods are provided. A whitelist, blacklist, or both of resource access sources that are allowed to use a particular resource access account are obtained. Upon detecting an access attempt to a particular resource on a computer network, a source of the access attempt and a resource access account used in the access attempt is identified. The whitelist, blacklist, or both are referenced to determine if the source of the access attempt is allowed to use the resource access account used in the access attempt. When the source of the access attempt is not allowed to use the resource access account used in the access attempt, one or more mitigation tasks may be performed.

Abstract: Methods and systems for retaining credit card usage through systematic recognition of recurring payments are described. In some embodiments, a method includes receiving user transaction data relating to a payment instrument issued to a user. The user transaction data may include payees and a schedule of payments to the payees. The method may further include identifying recurring payees based on a category of each of the payees. In response to a triggering event requiring an account update of the payment instrument, a report identifying the recurring payees may be generated for the user.

Abstract: An image of a check may be presented for payment in a banking system in place of the physical paper check. The check to be deposited can be collected from a depositor using a scanner. A web site, accessed through a depositor's web browser, can be used to drive the process of collecting the check, but in some contexts (e.g., in less popular computing environments, such as those that do not run the most popular operating systems), it is economically infeasible to obtain the certificates that would be used to allow a program executing in the web browser to control the scanner. Thus, a depositor can be instructed to capture and upload images of the check in the form of files, where the image files are then presented for payment through a banking system.

Abstract: A system of electronic identity verification across multiple services is provided and includes a password vault module adapted to enable a user to store a plurality of credentials for respective services of the user's choosing as well as a federated identity module adapted to enable a user to provide a single sign-on credential for a plurality of subscribing services. A common login module is accessible to both the password vault module and the federated identity module. When the user logs into the common login module, the user is authenticated for both services of the user's choosing and subscribing services. The system migrates stored user credentials in the password vault module to the federated identity module when a user-chosen service becomes a subscribing service. An integrated mobile wallet module enables financial transactions between the user and both the user-chosen services and subscribing services.
