Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems, devices, and computer-implemented methods for tracking delivery items associated with a postal tracking product that includes a tracking bar code and a serial number. The tracking bar code can be attached to a delivery item and mailed. The delivery item can be processed by a delivery processing system, which can report information on the location of the delivery item using the tracking number, and an indication of the location can be provided to a user that enters the serial number into a tracking interface. They tracking interface may be for an application that extracts, from a serial barcode associated with the postal tracking product, the serial number and a website associated with the tracking interface, automatically navigates the user to the website, and automatically enters the serial number into the tracking interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods for commanding, controlling, and guiding automated guided vehicles (“AGVs”). Automated systems translate AGV commands according to AGV manufacturers. AGVs can be summoned and destinations be determined automatically.

Abstract: An automated system for transferring articles from a container. An item transfer system includes retainers configured to secure a first tray and a second tray, a movable paddle assembly, a frame, and a plurality of actuators. The system is configured to transfer articles from the first tray to the second tray by an automated process including securing the articles within the first tray with the paddle assembly, rotating the frame by approximately 90° to 100°, moving the paddle assembly in a series of linear translations to remove the items from the first tray and place the items into the second tray, rotating the frame back to its initial orientation, and releasing the items into the second tray.

Abstract: Embodiments of a system and method for sorting and sequencing articles in a processing facility are disclosed. Delivery endpoints are divided and grouped into stop groups. A first sorter sorts items according to stop group and outputs the items to trays. The output trays from the first sorter are loaded to a second sorter in stop group order. The second sorter sorts items for each stop group into separate lanes. Each lane can then be sorted into output bins in delivery sequence order.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for the collection and delivery of physical items. Implementations consistent with the present disclosure provide a method including receiving, by a user interface device, a request from a user to deliver an item to a destination using a digital stamp, wherein the item includes destination information. The method also includes receiving, by the user interface device, a destination address from the user. The method also includes providing, by the user interface device, the delivery fee for the item. The method also includes generating the digital stamp using the destination address received from the user, the delivery fee for the item, and user account information. The method also includes collecting the item, wherein the item lacks any physical indicia that the delivery fee for the item has been paid or will be paid.

Abstract: A method, a computing device, and a computer program product are provided. An interceptor hub application receives, via a network, a request for multiple services from a first service-consuming application. The request is in a format for an interceptor interface. The interceptor hub application converts at least some information in the received request to a format of a corresponding interface of at least one of the requested services. The interceptor hub application sends a respective request to each of the requested services. The each respective request includes a corresponding portion of the information in the format of the corresponding service-oriented interface. A respective service response from the each of the respective services is received by the interceptor hub application, which provides each of the respective responses in a combined service response to the first service-consuming application in a format expected by the first service-consuming application.
