Abstract: Present embodiments are directed to a distributed control system of an interactive video system. The distributed control system includes a switched fabric network, which includes an input node implemented to collect scanning data for a participant. The switched fabric network also includes a set of processing nodes implemented to generate a virtual representation for the participant based at least in part on the scanning data for the participant. Further, the switched fabric network includes an output node, which includes an output device implemented to present the virtual representation of the participant in a virtual environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods presented herein provide an in-application messaging system that includes an audio generation system configured to encode at least one audio watermark within an audio signal, and to broadcast the audio signal into a physical environment. The in-application messaging system also includes a portable electronic device configured to receive the audio signal from the physical environment, to identify the at least one audio watermark encoded within the audio signal, and to display in-application messaging information via an application running on the portable electronic device. The in-application messaging information is based at least in part on the at least one audio watermark.

Abstract: A system includes a projection device configured to project images onto a receiver surface of a viewing device. The viewing device includes a screen having the receiver surface and a viewing surface opposite the receiver surface. The screen is configured to permit transmission of the images through the screen, from the receiver surface, to the viewing surface such that the images are viewable on the viewing surface. The viewing device also includes a focusing lens configured to focus the images for a user when wearing the viewing device. Further, the system includes a tracking system configured to determine a location and orientation of the receiver surface of the viewing device. The projection device is configured to adjust image properties of the images based at least in part on the determined location and orientation of the receiver surface.

The movable arm is mounted to the ride vehicle at the base end. A ride seat is attached to the free end of the movable arm. A coupling device couples a first portion of the movable arm to the ride vehicle base, the ride seat to a second portion of the movable arm, the ride seat to the ride vehicle base, or some combination thereof.

Abstract: A ride system includes a platform assembly that receives a ride vehicle for transporting a ride passenger, an upward drive pulley system, and a downward drive pulley system. The upward drive pulley system is drivingly coupled to the platform assembly and upwardly drives motion of the platform assembly along a vertical axis oriented along a gravity vector. The downward drive pulley system is drivingly coupled to the platform assembly and downwardly drives motion of the platform assembly along the vertical axis. Additionally, upwardly and downwardly driving motion of the platform assembly exposes the ride passenger to a plurality of entertainment shows, and the entertainment shows are positioned on a different vertical level with respect to one another.

Additionally, the video feed management system monitors one or more displayed images on the display to identify an error in the primary video feed.

Abstract: A wireless power system includes a control system configured to output radio waves to an environment and a wearable device having an energy harvesting device configured to receive the radio waves and to harvest energy from the received radio waves. The queue management system may include an interface system of the data server system configured to receive a reservation request including an indication of a general time period of arrival of a guest to an area. Additionally, the queue management system may include a reservation right allotment system of the data server system configured to correlate a reservation slot for accessing an attraction to identification information for the guest. Abstract: A dynamic short range free-space optical (FSO) communication system that is specially designed for use in dynamically moving targets that are within a short range of distance (e.g., 0-50 meters) is provided herein. Using specially designed transmitters and/or receivers, the dynamic short range FSO communication system may facilitate high-bandwidth communication, while allowing several line of sight alignment options that may be useful for somewhat unpredictable vehicle movement.
