    Abstract: A process for the removal of hydrogen from a gas which also contains oxygen, which process comprises contacting the said gas at ambient temperature with a catalyst comprising a carrier of tin oxide and alumina impregnated with from 0.25 to 2.5% by weight of platinum and from 0.25 to 2.5% by weight of palladium.
