    Abstract: The compositions for the preservation of organic tissues are comprised of a mixture from 12 to 70% of at least one dialkyl (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6)-keton peroxide, from 10 to 15% of glycerine, from 10 to 70% of at least one alcohol and, optionally, from 0 to 10% of a complementary marking, coloring and/or aromatic agent. Said compositions may be mixed with other appropriate agents or diluents, and can be applied especially to the preservation of tissues of all types, of human or origin, preferably by embalming or immersion.
