Abstract: The present invention is a formulation for the production of a biodegradable container based on polylactic acid, lignocellulose fibers, lubricating additives, plastifiers, crystallinity modifiers, compatibilizers and functional additives. The lignocellulose fibers can be wood fibers and/or grape marc fibers, with a content that can vary between 0% and 75% of the mixture in weight; the polylactic acid content can vary between 0% and 80% of the mixture in weight; and the content of lubricating additives, plastifiers, crystallinity modifiers, compatibilizers and functional additives can vary between 0% and 10% of the mixture in weight.

Abstract: The invention discloses an integrated 3 D surgical guide, guide bar, mini-implant system and a procedure to stabilize dental prostheses, based on implanting two parallel mini-implants at a given distance and then joining them by means of a prosthetic bar mounted on them, thus achieving the required strength to mount on the bar a metallic clip that retains a dental prosthesis. The advantage of this integrated system is the stabilization of dental prostheses with high precision and save standardized protocol, lower costs and less trauma for the patient than the traditionally used method.
Abstract: A novel gene isolated from Deschampsia antarctica coding for a lipase like protein is disclosed. A system for production of recombinant enzyme is also disclosed as well as uses for the enzyme.
