    Abstract: The object of the present invention relates to a nanoparticulate aerosol generator comprising a compressed gas reservoir (1) connected to a nanoparticulate material receptacle (2) through an operational valve (8?), wherein said receptacle (2) comprises an outlet hole (3) for the aerosol. Advantageously, the outlet of said nanoparticulate material receptacle (2) is connected to or inserted into a pressurized aerosol distribution chamber (4) equipped with a hole (9) for the exit of said aerosol out of the chamber (4). The invention provides the possibility of using different types of nanoparticles with sizes less than 100 nanometers continuously over time during long production periods of more than three hours. The invention also relates to a method for continuously generating nanoparticulate aerosols associated with the mentioned generator.

The present invention further refers to the reconstituted composition obtained by adding water, preferably sterilized water for injection, to the freeze-dried composition as well as uses thereof, in particular for use as a prophylactic agent to those at risk of infection with M. tuberculosis or those at risk of developing tuberculosis disease, or as secondary agents for treating infected tuberculosis patients.

In an embodiment, such a system includes one or more pulse generators for generating electrical pulses that can be connected in series; a charging circuit for charging the pulse generators; and a controller communicatively coupled to the pulse generators and the charging circuit. Advantageously, each pulse generator may include an AC/DC rectifier and a DC/AC inverter connected to said AC/DC rectifier in a bridge configuration to generate bipolar output electrical pulses or pulse trains. In addition, the charging circuit may include a DC/DC step-up converter connected to an indirect DC/AC inverter. The novel configuration of the ports (3, 3?) and their corresponding channels (1) allows known microfluidic perfusion media to be improved, dispensing with the use of complex elements for injecting the fluid media, such as syringe pumps, for example. The invention also allows two-dimensional and three-dimensional culture studies to be performed simultaneously.

    Abstract: The present invention starts with a method for obtaining organic extracts of the Artemisia absinthium L. plant, which includes: a methodology phase for producing said plant, an extraction phase during which said essential oil and a non-volatile extract are obtained, and a phase of extracting supercritical extracts with CO2, and refers specifically to the use of the essential oil and/or the supercritical extract extracted as fungicides against phytopathogenic fungi. For said purpose, the Artemisia absinthium L. plant is used, specifically the Candial variety from Teruel and/or Sierra Nevada in Spain. The present invention also relates to the aqueous residue generated during said method, which includes an organic compound which in turn contains (Z)-2,6-dimethylocta-5,7-diene-2,3-diol as an active organic compound against nematodes. The method for obtaining said organic portion and the corresponding active organic component thereof is protected by the present application.
