Abstract: The invention relates to a process of manufacture of a solid catalyst made of a support coated with a thin catalytic layer and to a process for eliminating gaseous and/or particulate pollutants in an exhaust gaz.
Abstract: Described herein are methods for identifying C. canimorsus in a sample as one of serotype A, serotype B, serotype C, serotype D or serotype E, amplification primer pairs, sets of primer pairs, oligonucleotide probes, sets of oligonucleotide probes, polyclonal antibodies, sets of polyclonal antibodies and kits that can be used for such methods. The application further provides polyvalent vaccines for the protection against an infection with C. canimorsus, methods of preparing said polyvalent vaccines and uses of these polyvalent vaccines.

Abstract: Described herein are polypeptides comprising a lipoprotein export signal, polypeptide precursors comprising a lipoprotein export signal, nucleic acids encoding said polypeptides or polypeptide precursors, recombinant expression vectors comprising nucleic acids encoding said lipoprotein export signal and/or polypeptides or polypeptide precursors, and 5 recombinant host cells comprising these vectors. The application further provides uses of these polypeptides, polypeptide precursors, nucleic acids, recombinant expression vectors and recombinant host cells.

Abstract: A method is for the cryopreservation of a (plant) cell, (plant) organelle or (plant) tissue, where the (plant) cell, (plant) organelle or (plant) tissue is encapsulated in a matrix formed of an abiotic material in presence of one or more additives with cryoprotectant effect. The method provides a faster, more effective and cheaper way to cryopreserve biological material.

Abstract: Borazine derivatives are used in the manufacture of electronic devices, in particular electroluminescent and semiconductor devices. More specifically, stable borazine derivatives include boron atoms substituted by aryl groups used in one or more layers of an electroluminescent or a semiconductor device, in particular in the emissive layer of organic light-emitting devices (OLED).

Abstract: Functional multilayer systems and are used in the manufacture of various devices such as detecting and sensor devices. More specifically, porous multilayer systems are capable of switching from a transparent state to a Bragg reflector state by introducing a suitable composition into the porous multilayer system, or via displacement of a suitable composition through the porous multilayer system.

Abstract: A ‘bioactive’ composition that has one or more oligogalacturonans ((1?4)-?-D-galacturonan) or any other oligosaccharides (oligoguluronans) that may present an ‘egg box’ conformation, this conformation being further stabilized by one or more polycationic saccharide(s), preferably either a chitosan oligosaccharide or a chitosan polysaccharide. A method prepares this composition and it is used, in medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, nutraceutical, food, feed, textile, cosmetic, industrial and/or environmental applications.
