Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of the assessment of the binding between—antibodies elicited against a first glycoprotein, and—at least one glycoform of a second glycoprotein, said second glycoprotein being itself a glycoform of the first protein, wherein said glycoform of the second glycoprotein is selected from a group of glycoforms of the second glycoprotein, each glycoform of said group corresponding to a determined glycosylation state defined by a determined sialylation state, and/or a determined branching state, and/or a determined fucosylation state, provided that said glycosylation state is not uniquely defined by a substantially unsialylated state, for the screening of glycoform specific antibodies directed against a given glycoform of the second glycoprotein.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new class of terpene-derived compounds having an antibiotic activity and of the formulae (I) or (II) in which A is selected from NR1, O, S, CR2R3 or R—(CH2)n—R?, wherein R and R? represent independently NH, O, S or CH2, and in which R1, R2 et R3 are substituents and n is higher than or equal to 1, in particular equal to 2. The invention relates to the compound according to both the formula (I) or the formula (II) taken individually, to mixtures of the two compounds, and to compositions, mainly therapeutic ones, comprising at least one of the compounds or said mixture. According to a particular embodiment, the compound ((I) or (II) taken individually, the mixtures of both compounds and the compositions of the invention are used in the treatment of difficult C-related digestive infections. In one particular embodiment, the compound of the formula (I) is margaucine, a compound produced by a bacterial stem.

Abstract: Process for destroying organic matter, in which said organic matter in ground form is introduced into a reactor and subjected to flameless combustion at a temperature of 240 to 400° C. under a pressure of 100 to 300 bar, in the presence of an oxygen-containing oxidizer for at least 20 minutes, while stirring the medium, and process for generating energy, in which the energy generated by the combustion is furthermore recovered.

Abstract: The waveform of the signal varies according to the distance at which the signal was emitted, and several correlation signals are defined and correspond respectively to at least part of several sampled waveforms of the signal respectively emitted at several distances of different values so that the sum of the maxima of intercorrelations performed respectively between the various correlation signals and the various sampled waveforms is substantially constant over an interval including all the values of the distances. The correlation processing includes several elementary correlation processings respectively performed with the correlation signals and each delivering initial correlation values, as well as a summation of the homologous initial correlation values respectively delivered by the elementary correlation processings so as to obtain the correlation values.
